yeah, they make a e class look like a mini s class and a a4 is a mini a8 but the biggest offender is bmw and benz putting AMG and M badges on cars that arent true AMG or M models. They stick those badges on everything now

@@paladin3116 personally I think BMW still has the prestigious look. Mercedes has KILLED their brand by making the rear ends on a A and C class, almost identical to their S class. From a distance I legit can not tell the difference.

This Genesis exterior looks OK; the Alfa Romeo Giulia is better yet, even though it's a few years old now.

@@rlsedition Alfa Romeo is good, but this is better. The v6 is suuper fun and the design of this car is drop dead gorgeous.

@@bigden2755 Every, and I mean EVERY car, has issues once unleashed on the public. Sometimes it's a design fault, others it's a dealership issue and too many times it's user misuse or neglect. Assuming you think it's a manufacturer problem with your car, find a good dealer (they are out there).

I disagree. I believe the vehicles are almost identical and I think the average person wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Maybe a bit more power in the m340i, but I bet once you tell them the price difference, they would choose the g70.

The F30 had a more aggressive rear . This looks terrible and the front looks outdated for a redesign. Even the interior feels outdated.

@@98matching Unfortunately it appears that Genesis is only offering the red interior on their limited quantity “Launch Edition” models that come with either the matte grey or matte white exterior colors. In fact, red is the only available interior color on this package! Beyond this model, red will not be available. AND to add insult to injury, the cool wheels that you see in this review are not available on the launch edition model- they stick you with a rather unattractive (IMHO) multi-spoke wheel. I was really astonished when I learned all of this upon going to their website. Like, WTF? I hope they eventually realize that in this higher-end market people expect more flexibility when configuring their cars. I hope they will eventually decide to offer the red interior as a real option, not just on some limited time, limited quantity edition. Very disappointing, especially considering that it appears that the GV-70 will have a number of interior colors available, including red, AND the top trim has bad-ass wheels!

The AC knobs looks exactly like a Nissan Civilian (mini bus) 😂

If you are gonna look at this and you drive Mopar, I’d also look at the Stinger.

Jag has the British racing green which is near perfect. Honda used to offer an emerald green which was nice.

Seriously waiting for a new design on the q50, I absolutely love how they drive. bmw's are trash. Ive rented both to test drive them. I was hoping for a new q50 this year with fresh styling because i need a new car. I'm sad it's not happening 😭i'm trying to figure out what other car i should get.

Been an Q50 owner since '14. NOTHING has changed, sadly ! . Wouldn't buy another one ! Same exterior, same interior... Great car, though ! Infiniti is dying ! Bought a '23 G70 top trim for less than the ''luxe'' trim

@@bigden2755 after it’s been 2 years since I’ve posted this. I got ride of my 18 q50rs , and leased me a 23 Bmw x3M. I’m never ever going to return to Infiniti. BMW has the innovation, tech and they’re definitely more reliable now than ever before. You are not doing anything wrong by not buying another q50. Also congrats on your G70.

Don't worry, they 100% overestimated. This thing gets absolutely WALKED on by an M340I and that car actually does 60 in 4.2. This car is closer to 4.7 or so.

Thats how i want mine. White w black rims. Windows tinted. The blacked out accents the launch edition has. Only thing i dont lile about the launch edition is the red seats, id prefer black interior

The new G70 drives nothing like stringer. STINGER doesn’t sell well and is known to be overly expensive in Korea where it’s developed and made. No wonder Kia has to sell them at hugely discount price. I had my GT2 2018, received over $16,000 discount after all the incentives and dealer discount, but man,,, stinger does not compete with German rivals lol. I got rid of it after 2months because I was so unhappy with it. It’s all steel and no aluminum in the suspension and rides like a $30,000 car.

@@Warrior11117 I don’t know what you had, but I’ve got a 2018 Stinger GT2, and I regularly test drive BMWs et al. It absolutely competes with the German rivals, and particularly when you factor in the practicality of the hatch and the price.

@@alh06 ok so everything you said just sounds like a lot of bias, the engine sound, looks and sounds are all a matter of opinion, nobody is right or wrong, in terms of driving I have seen comparisons of the two and have been inside the two the genesis is the same or better, and for 10k less or even more it’s well worth it, it’s also genesis tends to make more reliable cars than bmw

@@RaitisRides me to only because type S is just that one of a kind car that don’t come round that often, and what’s up with Hyundai and their rear view mirrors it just messes up the whole interior it also need some ambient lighting to complete that interior.👍🏻

And no, I wanted to say that based on experience. I bought a used siberian ice 2020 G70 a few months ago and absolutely adored that thing​, but ended up wanting to switch to a m3p for that instant torque because it's addictive. Ended up looking at trade in options and private sale options and i had already lost nearly 10% on the car (I got it for quite a decent price as well) You can even check G70 depreciation curves on many websites comparing it to something like the m340i or some c classes and you'll see they hold their own better. Genesis makes lovely cars, but the fact is sadly they have bad resale because the masses want BMWs, Mercedes and other cars that have prestige to the name. Not many people are well aware of a hyundai luxury brand haha.

@@ReactLMaD you wrote a novel for nothing. Again you can resale av Genesis faster than av mercedes and you'll save more money over time. You can look up the 10 top worst cars to buy, and Mercedes is #1 BMW is #2. You don't know and you're talking about
