Rajma Recipe | Vegan Punjabi Homestyle Kidney beans in the Instant Pot
Ingredients for Punjabi Rajma Curry:
Kidney beans - 1.5 cups dry, soaked for 6 hrs (max overnight)
Whole Spices - 1 tspn cumin seeds, 4 cloves, 4 peppercorn, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 cardamom, 1 bay leaf or use 1/2 tspn garam masala at the end of cooking
Ginger & Garlic - 2 tspns each
Onion - 1 cup
Tomato - 3/4th cup
Green Chillies - 3
Spice Powders - 2 tspns coriander, 1 tspn cumin, 1/4th turmeric powder, 1 tspn red chilli powder
Salt - to taste
Kashmiri Red Chilli powder - 2 tspns optional
Dhaniya
Oil - As needed
Water - As needed, about same level of beans
