Join us for our first endowed lecture of the 2023-2024 academic year with Professor Kevin Brown. Brown's talk is titled "The Long View of the End of Affirmative Action From One of Its Beneficiaries." Prof. Brown will discuss the implications of the end of affirmative action for American society and will situate affirmative action in its historical place and discuss the most likely outcomes of its end.
Professor Brown is the Richard S. Melvin Professor of Law Emeritus here at the Law School and is currently the Mitchell Willoughby Professor of Law at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
