In a detailed 40-minute interview, where he explains at length how he views the Prana Pratishtha (consecration) of the Ram Lalla murti at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Monday, January the 22, the Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth has said that he has not been invited to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. He added that if he were to be invited he would certainly go to Ayodhya but made it clear that he would not participate in the Prana Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony. Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said he does not know if the other Shankaracharyas (of Puri, Dwarka, Sringeri) have been invited but equally clearly said that none of the four Shankaracharyas will be attending the Prana Pratishtha ceremony.

Modiji is working for the country. His intention is to make the country better after decades of negligence from other governments. Whatever limited knowledge he has, he is using it. No longer does geography or race/etc give us the protection to ignore divergent views. And hiding is not the way out..Not building xyz is not a workable option. Altho this temple could have been built elsewhere..Every 2 centuries brining down a place of worship is such a lame thing. Just because mughals did it is no excuse that sensible Indians must follow suit. Political drama..

The head of family is not invited rather he invits others to the ceremony. Sankaracharyas are to protect and spread the Sanatan dharma. They are not doing it properly. If they were doing it properly, bhart would not be going towards an islamic national; Stones are not being pelted in the festival of Sanatan. Karan Thapar is a man of leftist, who are against Sanatan culture.

I have come across many suggestions/ advices by Shankaracharyas in past & am delighted to watch this interview. People should see & learn what the Shankaracharyas advice or preach. He has not only highlighted the sentiments of Hindus, but also has considered the sentiments of other religions like Muslims. He has proved that they are not for Hindus only, they are always there for people of other religions of the country. They are against any oppression on any religion, like Shri Ram did. This thing makes them great dharm-gurus. My deepest respect to all the four Shankaracharyas. I sincerely hope, they will be the dharm gurus of all the people, irrespective of religion, in the Indian sub-continent.

All the four Sankaracharyas have said, consecration should not happen before the temple is completed. What right does PM of a country have to do this ritual. That's not his job. Bro, I am not a very religious person, I think I lean more towards science and logic, but after this interview, I want to really meet the Shankaracharya and touch his feet, his way of conduct and politeness with rational logic has made my belief stronger in the role of Rishi munis in ancient India and their wisdom. His firm determination to follow the rules (not arguing whether those rules are correct or not) even when whole nation speakes against him has taught me the lesson of standing by your words and perform your duty with full honesty with no fear of consequences.

Whats your problem, do you even know significance of ram temple ? He's the one of the most important figure of hinduism. And we can't even get the temple at such a importat location for him. Even after it has been clearly stated in supreme court that temple ruins existed below the controversial structure. maybe being hinduism does not matter to you, but it does for us.

Problem is in bjp doing politics in the name of religion. Religion and politics is not a good combination for democracy. Religion relies on faith. There was silence for more than 500 year's and now when all in place "Sabke pet me dard ho raha hai" No one was ever ask "Why" Mosque build over temple that's too after demolishing it. If silence is a meaning of weakness i would better choose to roar than to scream. about Shankaracharya well this is happening over Ego not on spiritual wellbeing. Shankaracharya said the Temple is incomplete but it's the outside vicinity whose work is in progress not temple and Pran Pratishtha is done to request supreme lord to take place in idol to bless the people. As per Shankaracharya he meant that vicinity is incomplete in that case even the entire Ayodhya is vicinity so it will take decades for it to get ready. Why Shankaracharya has no problem during Somanath temple consecration. It just an ego because Politician are there for Pran Pratistha and this Politicians played the big role for todays Consecration along with other Sanyasis and Karsevak "Warna aaj bhi hum Silence rehte aur Prabhu Ram Tent me rehte" I come from Brahmin family and know the Karma-Kand very well. It's just an ego.

The only thing worse than a “brutal” dictator is a “benign” dictator. Meaning, rather than being a tyrant that everybody hates but is forced to put up with, the dictator assumes a role of being everybody’s favourite. He loves everybody, supposedly, and everybody loves him. He is there for you and me, he has our best interests at heart. He is the one who will give you the Ram Mandir, he is the one who has built it, who will inaugurate it etc. But the actual religious people such as the Shankaracharya are excluded. That’s very interesting, isn’t it? So, whose interest is the temple really serving? Inaugurating a half built temple is certainly a novel strategy.

अभी तक तो यही जानकारी थी कि अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद ज्योर्तिमठ का शकराचार्य है एवम रामजन्म भूमि न्यास ने इनको 22 जनवरी को अयोध्या के निर्माणाधीन मन्दिर मे होने वाली रामलला विग्रह की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा हेतु आमंत्रित किया है जिसको इसने अस्वीकार कर दिया। अब राम जन्मभूमि न्यास के तरफ से विहिप के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष आलोक कुमार ने कहा कि हम तो इसे शंकराचार्य मानते ही नहीं और ना ही इसे कोई न्यौता भेजा गया है ..ज्योर्तिमठ से तो शंकराचार्य वासुदेवानंद सरस्वती को न्यौता भेजा गया है.. यह भी पता चल रहा है यह तो स्वयंभू शंकराचार्य बना बैठा हैं। काशी विद्वत परिषद जो की शंकरचार्य का चयन करती है वह भी इसे शंकरचार्य स्वीकार नहीं करती है, अखाड़ा वालों ने भी इसे नकार दिया है । ...सभी शंकराचार्यों ने विरोध किया.. पुरी पीठ के शंकराचार्य निश्चलानंद सरस्वती इसे खुले आम फर्जी कहते है। अब ज्योर्तिमठ शंकराचार्य का मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चल रहा है.. पंरतु इस सब के बावजूद भारत के इलेक्ट्रोनिक मीडिया में इसको सभी चारो आमंत्रित शंकराचार्यों के प्रतिनिधि के रूप मे पेश किया जा रहा है। सुबह शाम इसके ही इन्टरव्यू चल रहे है। मीडिया आज भी बार बाला की रखैल है?

@@tuhin2839 कृपया यह याद रखिए की श्रृंगेरी के भारती तीर्थ महास्वामी जी ने खुद उनका अभिषेक किया है। नकली शंकराचार्य तो वासुदेवानंद है जिसको अयोध्या तीर्थ क्षेत्र न्यास में घुसा रखा है। अगर आप इन्हें अभिप्रमाणित मानते हैं तो फिर श्रृंगेरी के दोनों शंकराचार्य स्वामी जी अर्थात भारती तीर्थ महास्वामी और विधुशेखर भारती स्वामी जी, दोनों को नकली मानना होगा

The archarya is paving the way for division. He is crossing his limit by speaking like a politician. . he is quoting like a scholar yet behaving like a politician.The scriptures speaks about spiritual conduct he and all his Acharya s is behaving like Duryodhan who was upset with pandavas for building a city better than hastinapur. The Acharya s wanted to be in modi position so they are not happy. Shankara Acharya himself when asked who is god he answered neti neti but today they want to say they are god. What's use of religion if not to preach righteousness in such times? Sikh gurus fought battles. Hindu saints often used strong language when talking about social issues. Tukaram maharaj supported Shivaji maharaj. They even broke stupid brahmin made rules by writing their texts in languages other than sankrit. It's duty of spiritual leaders to tell right things

Even as a Muslim I agree with shankaracharya. That the solutions are only found through the discussion and the india should be united and not divided. This building of this temple was only possible through discussion and muslims backing out from this stupid fight, And thus we all should respect and understand each other. This thing could have been about uniting India but here these politician are only dividing people through their false narratives, agenda and propoganda by displaying this scenario in way which fuels more hatred in people.

As a non Hindu, for the first time I learnt that even Hinduism has some real religious leaders/priests, who really know the religion, its essence and that there are strict rules and protocols Hindu religion also and these religious leaders are strongly standing by it and not ready to bend the rules for the sake of powerful. That's impress. I had only seen some goon kind of people so far as Hindu leaders.

After watching this interview I feel that Shankaracharya is a true sanatani. Every Hindu should be proud of him. He was so clear and impactful. No nonsense. Through out the interview he needed no hand movements or body language to put his point across.
