In an interview to discuss and explain his resignation from NDTV India, where he was the channel’s star anchor on their Prime Time programme, and to also discuss Gautam Adani’s intention of acquiring a majority stake in NDTV and take over its channels, Ravish Kumar says that Mr. Adani is spending hundreds or thousands of crores only to silence him (Ravish Kumar) and to make him unemployed.

I remember Ravish Kumar once said, "Jis din mujhe Naukri se Nikal diya jayega, us din T-shirt pe likhwa ke phirunha, Pradhaan mantri dwara nikala gaya ek Patrakaar". & In an open interview in a village, between everyone, he said "Zaruri nai Patrakaar studio me hi news padhe, sadak pe khad ke news padh denge, Ghar me news padh denge, aur jis tarha gana gaate hai us tarha bathroom me news padh denge". He predicted his future long time ago and was strongly ready for it. I feel for him. How tough, speaking truth has become. 😕

Two gentlemen representing media in two different languages but with utmost respect for ethics, fact-based reportage and conscious integrity. We need more such people in every regional language of our country. You would silence a few but you can't buy out an entire army of genuine reporters who are not available for sale.
