I lived 2 yrs in tiruvannamalai at the feet of Arunachala out of my 18 yrs living in India on a constant yatra. Ramana ashra and surrounding area is the most powerful place I ever experienced .shiva lives on Mt kailash but Arunachala is the incarnation of shiva .his embodied form.

Raman Maharishi is my guru, first guru, guru of all time. Ever iternal, I bow down to Bhagwan again. Simple yet profound process to attain the self! I am not from south but just stumbled upon the fb page of Maharishi. It was more then 10 years ago then the journey started, I keep getting entailed in Maya but Bhagwan Maharishi brings me back. My only wish is to visit the Tiruvannamalai once in my life as I dont live in India currently.

I came to know about Ramana Maharshi, an enlightened being, ,through the talks of Swami Sarvapriyananda ji. Swamiji is the best speaker of Advaita vedanta in the world and he often refers to Ramana Maharshi ji.

So sorry that I don't understand Hindi and couldn't enjoy this clip. But, I know Ramana Maharshi on a deep spiritual level. I have had mystical experiences with the Maharshi, which I won't share here. Been to Tiruvannamalai a few times and had visited Ramanashram as well. Arunachala and Annamalaiyar Arunachaleshwara Temple are very powerful places for spiritual sadhana. I had the blessing to be there past November during Karthigai Deepam and it was an experience I will never forget. The Giri Pradakshina on the full moon was incredible. Must visit place for Mahadev bhaktas. Pranam to Ramana Maharshi.

Some facts told about Ramana Maharshi is not right. Maharshi had near to death experience at the age of 16 and went to Arunachala, not at the age of 8. The inner search of "Who am I?" is his Bhrahmastra or the the core of his teaching

I came to know about Raman Maharshi by a German old man in Hamburg. Coincidentally, a few months later, I came across a book called ‘Search in secret India’ by Paul Brunton. The book describes how Paul meets many different saints in India during 1940s. Eventually, he becomes deciple of Raman Maharshi. For me, Raman Maharshi seems more like Buddha, who believe in self enquiry.

Maharsi like Ramana Maharshi is very very rare. He is my Guru and I feel from the core of my heart, that he is always guiding me. He is Eternal and all pervading. You can't address a bhagavan dehant hogaya. When they experience enlightenment they go beyond death. So birth death everything becomes concept. So they exist even now. If you connect bhagavan will speak in some form bcoz he became everything. A birth is a thought. Death is a thought. If you meditate deeply you will experience it even if its for one second you will understand everything is a illusion.

Thus Spoke Bhagwan Ramanar: The mind is a wondrous power residing in the Self. It causes all thoughts to arise. Apart from thoughts, there is no such thing as mind. Therefore, thought is the nature of mind. Apart from thoughts, there is no independent entity called the world. In deep sleep there are no thoughts, and there is no world. In the states of waking and dream, there are thoughts, and there is a world also. Just as the spider emits the thread (of the web) out of itself and again withdraws it into itself, likewise the mind projects the world out of itself and again resolves it into itself. When the mind leaves the Self, the world appears. Therefore, when the world appears, the Self does not appear; and when the Self appears (shines) the world does not appear. When one persistently inquires into the nature of the mind, the mind will subside leaving the Self (as residue). The mind always exists only by depending on something gross (physical body); it cannot exist independently. It is the mind that is called the subtle body or the soul.

Hi Ranveer, I enjoy watching your podcast. I learned about Shree Raman Maharishi from Swami Yogananda’s Autobiography. There were many great Saints and spiritual Gurus in India and we are actually living surrounded by many more. One Spiritual Guru you should invite is Swami Sarvapriyanada ji from Ramkrishna order. He is a head of Vedanta Society of New York. Swamiji has great knowledge and one must listen his spiritual teachings. I also wrote an email to you through your website requesting the same. 🙏😊

Hearing first time about Raman Maharshi but after watching this video it is very clear that whatever he experienced and taught ...it's all based on Bhagwad Gita. If you read Bhagwad Gita, you will be enlightened the same way with same thoughts. Infact, if you attend few vedic disclosure sessions at ISKCON then all their preachings are with same thought process. Possible Maharshi read it at very early age. Infact, most spiritual teachers and gurus comes to same preaching directly or indirectly, where Bhagwad Gita is the base. Bolo Jai Shri Krishna 🙏😊

Bhagawan Ramana Maharshi had not read any Spiritual books apart from Periya Puranam (Story of 63 Nayanars). He left to Tiruvannamalai few days after his Death Experience (Self - Realisation) and many years later one of his devotee gave Bhagavath Geetha, after reading the Geetha, Bhagawan said the Geetha states the same what he experienced (at the age of 16 in Madurai his uncle's home).

@@SK-nz4rj quite possible and this is also possible due to some memories staying with the soul and continuing in next birth also. It is said that your next birth depends on where you stopped in previous birth. So if you stopped your spiritual journey half way then you continue the same in next birth and slowly move towards vaikuntha...adobe of Krishna. There are many small young kids also who remembers Bhagwad Gita and many videos are circulated in past.

Sir the speciality of sri ramana maharshi swamy is however sinful u might be if he chooses to glimpse at u ...finish.. direct transformation happens immediately .... It's like lord sri dakshinamurthi transferring knowledge thru silence... "Mauna vakya prakatitham"...... The same thing has happend to lot of foreigners and one telugu famous writer has experienced the same and since the exp he stayed at ramana ashram arunachalam. Even the world's greatest music ppl stayed at arunachala and they were by that time world best musicians.....but at night 330 am on wards they heard some sounds they were so devine sounds and the musician could not even find which raga or could not identify its grammar at all but it was so divinely soothing...... he heard it 3 days continuously. Only concluded or realized him self that being no1 musian or revered as no1 is nothing infront of that devine archestration.... If he sees in to ur eyes u will be entirely new version of ur self. Beatles followed Maharshi Yogi and not Raman Maharshi. Ramana was enlightened soul , jeevan mukta, moksha prapt. There have been so many such jeevan muktas and still r there in the hills of uttarakhand . Ramana maharshi attained this at the age of 16 as in his previous lives he would have been on advance stage. He is epitome of how a jeevan mukta looks like.

@@Modern_Nandi Thank you for the invite but sorry I have to decline. I am a traveller of the same path of his and to some extent I realize the reason and the fallacies of the masses. Its like that of Lord Krishna at Geeta . He finally said to Arjun I have told you and revealed to you everything but now it's wish what you want to do. Its same for you it's your wish to walk the path of Ramanna Maharshi or cling on to his profile calling him avatar or God or whatever you wish.
