A friend just clued me in to this song after all these years. Really liked it! I half heartedly checked if there was a lesson for it not really expecting to find one and lo and behold there is your very excellent video... couldn't be more thrilled!

I don’t think that’s quite right. In the riff around the open D chord, i believe the B string should also be open on the alternate strums, rather than keeping it fretted at the 3rd as you have. Listening to the original there is a fairly audible open B string sounding there.
