🇺🇲 God Bless America 🇺🇲 (we're going to need it) I tell my kids all the time that stores were always closed on Sunday when I was a kid. They look at me like I'm the crazy one. I wish we could get back to that too. God bless your family and your farm.

I loved it when the stores were all closed on Sundays...& the phone never left the house. We try not to shop on Sundays, but it's not the same. The culture is conditioned to seven days of full send, & that presses in on you even when you don't directly participate in it. One year we opted our kids out of little kids' football because the games were on Sundays...luckily the games were moved to Saturdays the next year. Amen! We do need God's blessings. Like they say...know God, know peace; no God, no peace. I know I'm praying for God's continued blessings on America. I know y'all are praying & lots of faithful people are praying, & that can give us hope. No matter what, Jesus wins in the end. Keep sending up the prayers. God is good! Thank you for watching & commenting!

Tanner never gives up 😂 Isn't it Marek's disease that causes the gray eyes/blindness and gait problems? Or do both of them do that? I guess I'll have to go look it up, it'll be my new thing I learn today - I like to learn something new every day if I can.

Hi, Tina! ❤️ You're right...on both things...Tanner is a persistent pup, & Marek's Disease (from what I've read) does cause all those things, too! Actually, I believe that you are really accurate that those symptoms would generally point to Marek's. I didn't do a good job describing that my understanding is those symptoms relative to coccidossis are an indicator of a more chronic or systemic coccidossis infection. Thanks for questioning me & the info I included in the video! It's a great point you bring up that those symptoms are indicators of Marek's. I will give some thought to how I can make an improvement on this. Thanks, Tina!

Hi, Tina. Melissa again. I meant to add 2 other things. One, I also am open to the possibility that I misunderstood or misinterpreted information I have read...I will have to go back & review things I've researched, too. My recollection is that I have read coccidossis that doesn't get fought off by the bird can continue to express in the intestines (which I should've mentioned is an instance in poultry when we'd see red in the manure), & it could potentially express in the eyes & joints...& you're right those are known indicators of Marek's...so I am wondering maybe in general are those sites where inflammation & infection in chickens is prone to express. Thanks again! Also, Happy Fourth of July. God bless you!!!
