The pork in both Ramen bowls looked so tender....falling apart as you tried to pick it up. That broth so thick and full of flavor. The dessert looked wonderful. Would have been even better with a side of vanilla ice cream.

If you enjoy Ramen, the Abura-Soba aka "Soup-less Ramen" is worth trying. Just prior to eating, it is important to mix the noodles and sauce together with the other ingredients. This integrates the concentrated sauce and flavored oils throughout the dish.

Wow! Eric,this whole menu is outstanding,except I would have a beer. My favorite in this one is the fried chicken , fried rice and the gyoza.next would be the shrimp with mayo.My one problem is the cabbage salad,for me its cut too big, I would slice it thinner.Just my choice. Keep on eating menus like this one,great stuff.😁😃😄 Say Hi to Mega.

I have had the deep fried dongo(?) before but didn't know it's name! I absolutely loved it, I wanted to get it again, thank you for telling us the names of the foods that you eat! Very helpful and educational ❤ and entertaining of course

Those are "Goma Dango", a type of fried pastry made from glutinous rice flour. The pastry is coated with sesame seeds, and is both crisp and chewy after being cooked. They can be filled with sweetened lotus paste or sweetened bean paste. They originated in China as "Jiandui" (Sesame Balls), and were introduced to Japan by Chinese immigrants.
