The build I've been waiting for years to do: A JAPANESE RAMEN RESTAURANT! Finally with The Sims Snowy Escape expansion pack, I can build an authentic looking Japanese ramen restaurant! This is technically a renovation of Simlicy's Izakyaka Ippai bar, except I didn't really change much of the default build and instead just integrated my lot in between hers! I really love how it looks like a busy neighbourhood downtown street and I hope you will all love using it. Please let me know what you want me to build next!

Love this. I didn’t want to bulldoze Simlicy’s build but needed a restaurant in my game more than a bar. This is the perfect solution.

This is exactly what I wanted as soon as I saw Simlicy's build in this world. RAMEN! This is such an attractive and sympathetic addition to the bar and done so lovingly, thank you for sharing!!

Super fun build Doctor Ashley! Glad to hear that the West Coast Ramen shops make you work for it like the Toronto ones! The name of those banners is Noren. Bonus round: the tall slim banner (the one at the front of the shop on the right) is a Nobori.

Hi :) This build is so cuuuute, i love ramen places too. These flags/curtains are called Noren and here is the definition from Wikipedia : Noren were originally used to protect a house from wind, dust, and rain, as well as to keep a house warm on cold days and to provide shade on hot summer days. They can also be used for decorative purposes or for dividing a room into two separate spaces. Exterior noren are traditionally used by shops and restaurants as a means of protection from sun, wind, and dust, and for displaying a shop's name or logo.

Thanks so much for this. I recently purchased Snowy Escape on sale and really wanted to add a Japanese restaurant but didn’t want to bulldoze the existing bar. Definitely adding this in. Thankfully I have City Living too so the karaoke attached to the bar lot is a total win.

I love this so much!! I also didn't want to bulldoze her lot and didn't need a bar, so I just tweaked the furniture on the bottom floor to fit a small ramen and sushi shop. I wish I'd thought to add a new building like you did lol.

Wow this looks amazing! Definitely downloading this, it'd fit perfectly into my let's plays. I've wanted to get a restaurant for Mt. Komorebi, but they apparently cause routing issues if placed in the Yukimatsu neighbourhood where the big empty lot is, so this works out lol. One of the salaryperson career chance cards mentions karaoke, so I can also imagine they're here when it happens! 😄

Make sure that the “Maxis curated” box is not checked off so that you can see all my creations. Also make sure you are searching for the build under my profile page rather than searching for the specific item name. Let me know if you find it! :)
