Rami Malek has such an unusual, eccentric energy. I can see why he got cast as a Bond villain. Not saying he's slimy or weird or anything - on the contrary he's actually quite funny/chill and very respectful to Sheeran - but he seems capable of playing these things as an actor more naturally than others could. Similar to Javiar Bardem and Christoph Waltz, come to think of it.

You know what would be interesting (but would never, ever happen)? If Daniel Craig played a Bond villain in a future movie with the not-yet-cast new Bond. He and the others you mentioned have a similar intensity; I wonder if Craig could turn on an evil cast to his. I kinda think he could - he’s a super talented actor.

Too WEAK for a villain. Not just physically, but he doesnt strike me as someone to fear. I hated his supposedly not gay character in the Pacific. I guess it was because of his performance, being gay himself, but that character was very annoying. Bullying Sledge and other guys, while weighing 100 pounds. In reality he would get beaten at best, or fragged at worst.

I am afraid you are right. Average Joe is not his wheelhouse. "Little Things" proved that. I am a huge fan and was really surprised at his performance in that movie. The worst of his career. I think he was intimidated by Denzel which anyone would be and was afraid to appear to be trying to upstage him in any way. That left his performance stilted and awkward. Rami needs to be the lead in his movies. He needs a project designed just for him. "American Radical" with Sam Esmail has been on the table for quite awhile and would be another Oscar vehicle for him as an Arabic FBI agent infiltrating a terrorist cell.

@@musically_insane @Nika Ha, ha, are you a musician? What instrument? Young people have never heard of many but some are still being played. We often closed with "I'll See You In My Dreams". Joe Brown did a nice performance of this tune (elsewhere on youtube) at the Concert For George Harrison. Yesterday I asked my wife if she had ever heard of "Blue Star". We played it - it was the theme for a popular TV show called "Medic" back in the fifties. I brought it up on my iPhone and let her listen to it. Not familiar to her. She's 2 years younger than I am. I'm 82. Some songs endure and some get forgotten and some never become popular. How many people have ever heard of "Pennsylvania 6-5000"? It was a Glenn Miller hit in 1940 and we were playing it in 1955 but I doubt the kids in our band knew anything about until the night the leader passed out the charts and we had to sight read it for the first time without a rehearsal.

The fact that Ed Sheeran is one of the most successful songwriters ever now and has made millions upon millions and played insane stadiums all over the world - and whilst being interviewed on national TV, he still remembers whereabouts he did a small gig to one child on what looked like a truck at the age of 15. He’s very humble and has really worked his ass off to get to where he is today. I have a lot of time for him. 😁

I used to go to events where Ed Sheeran would be performing to about 5 people while everyone else was outside smoking. Saw Rag N Bone Man a few times in similar circumstances. Great to see them smashing it now.
