@@jotwee63 Yeah okay. I was successfully manipulated by the video. But the video would not exist in this form if the thought had not already been there. So maybe the video opens up the higher meaning that was there from the beginning. Who knows.

@@jotwee63 That's not true, every clip and song by Rammstein has a deeper meaning. Till needs so little, everything is just the big breasts of the chosen one! And if he looked around, he would see many beautiful women with large breasts. What a pity that he is blind and cannot enjoy the beauty. This is an obvious hint that society is objectifying women. And each of us is not able to see the essence, and sees only the form. It is not necessary to objectify women by raising female beauty to the level of a piece of meat. Even if the blind man, who spent his whole life in a vain search for the ideal, had his sight, these girls would not need him. He seemed to have lost the best thing he had, having spent his life on illusions. Time flies fast, we can lose what is given to us and trade it for the search for the unattainable. In the video, we see men dancing the national dance and women in amazing national costumes.The clip also shows the national color well. Lindemann does not accidentally focus on the national aspect. It means that he is concerned about the problems of German society.

Loved the wolf man's reaction... Been lucky enough to see Rammstein live 4 times. First time in 2004, in around a 4,000 venue to selling out stadiums in minutes... There's some good live videos from Madison Square Garden...

The bavarian music was played by the marching band of the federal state of Saxony in Dresden. They did a really good job. And, yeah, that is exactly how we live here in Germany.

And no, it's in Tyrol Austria, a friend of mine lives only about 200 meters away from the spot where it was filmed and he even showed me pictures, and I also know my famous local mountain, which is called: Wilder Kaiser! And I know him like the back of my hand! And you can see that in the video, you think it's Bavaria because the Ortstack (Ramstein) is yellow, so it's German, we have white, it's logical if it's a German band, enter on the internet: Wilder Kaiser Berg , and the location: Going am Wilden Kaiser!

They are definitely someone to be experienced live in person, at least once. I was hoping to see them in San Antonio in 2020 but Covid happened.

Copied from the user Cybrax. He wants something really badly but is blind to the fact that he is surrounded by exactly what he so desperately wishes for. He is basically blind to all the beauty that he is surrounded by, not only the woman but nature too. He steps on Edelweiß (the flower - which is highly protected by enviroment protection laws,) which is only growing in higher mountain areas. Decades ago, it was a act of bravery to get one of those and to give them to a woman was a sign of Admiration and Love as you literally risked your life to get the Edelweiß. I assume this is the reason why blind Till steps on it. If he gave that flower to one of the girls, he immediately would have a woman.

I think part of the reason Rammstein's fanbase is cool with this is because their sense of humor has always been very tongue-in-cheek and they are very progressive with their views, so we know the song wasn't written to be like, misogynistic or something like that. Although someone unfamiliar with them might assume that at first. But come on, who doesn't love some good musical fun and some big bouncy boobs once in awhile? LOL

There is nearly no Song of rammstein without a deeper meaning and mostly more than just one or two layers in the lyrics. Till Lindemann is a dark but smart poet. Mostly he uses the perspective of the first Person, which makes it dark and sometimes not easy to get his point. He does not say i.e. "there are people who visit other countries for sex tourism which is ugly". He makes his statement by shouting "you've got a pu..y, i have d..k, so whats the Problem, let's do it quick". And so what rammstein always does is putting a mirror to the face of our society and their sick parts. But their messages are not obvious. So if you're to superficial, you won't get it.

It is sooo funny how most americans are searching for a deeper meaning in this song/video. It's just fun ! It is also funny, how most of you americans try to avoid to say “titties" or "boobs" or something like that. I've always thought America is the land of the free, but in someways the freedom is slightly missing. I'm german and I'm laughing all of the time looking that video !
