Rancid is the answer, but they are two of my favorite bands of all time and the split they did is fantastic! NOFX cover of Olympia, WA is one of my favorite on the album. NOFX vs Frank Turner split is also fantastic!

The unsaid thing is that rancid nofx split. Came down to production. They just put rancids old recordings on it and fat Mike gave his band the best mix in Fat Wreck chords.

Rancid did radio better...but I have to give it to NOFX on their cover of antennas. That whole split album is fucking beautiful and I absolutely love it...and with Matt Freeman being my favorite bassist, I tend to enjoy hearing him play, and Rancid's take on Moron Bros and Bob is beautifully done, but I can't say I like it better than the original by NOFX...and back and forth, but I stand with my decision of NOFX's version of Antennas, and also with Corazon De Oro...I love Rancid's original versions so fucking much, but I just love how NOFX put their ending with Antennas and how they sped up Corazon De Oro a little bit more than Rancid's original version...like I said earlier though...I absolutely love their split album and they did each other's songs justice with their versions they did, and that just shows how much respect they have for each other...not just as musicians but also as pillars in the punk scene/community...and I think that's why they did that split album, out of mutual respect and with everyone from both bands knowing the other would play their song with respect and do it justice with their own twist on it. And that split album has got to be one of the best split albums of all time...I also have to throw that album of various artists covering rancid songs as one of the great split albums as well...especially with the band Noi!se doing a cover of Rancid's song Solidarity, as Noi!se is a local band from Tacoma, WA and they are a pretty great band with pretty awesome guys in the band, and they hold it down for Tacoma along with other bands such as South 11th, From Crooks To Kings, Sarah Conner, and even The Hilltop Rats...with the latter opening for NOFX at the Punk In Drublic festival for a few years, and I do believe they will be an opening act for this last year the festival and NOFX will be touring/playing live here in 2023...and I just want to give a huge THANK YOU to both NOFX and Rancid (and Operation Ivy) for being such a big part of my life and being a source of comfort and joy and everything else in between while I was growing up as a kid from age 13 up until today at age 39 (pushing 40)...I have never stopped listening to either band and have always went to your shows whenever I was able to...so THANK YOU again, and both bands will be forever in my heart and playing your music in my head until I'm at an old crusty age and I don't know who I am and if I just pissed or shat myself or if I made it to a toilet...I'm sure even then, I'll still remember your music before I remember myself...THANK YOU!
