I have a feeling if you gave an average person a month to sit down and analyze spending at the federal level you’d be looking at cutting 20-30% not begging for a 1% cut. Our taxes are already very low, especially when you include all the deductions and loopholes. The first thing they should do is get rid of all those and then they could lower tax rates across the board and still bring in more revenue than they do now.
