If you're wondering why bit of the floors don't join up in Cornwallis (so you have to keep going up and down), it's because a corner of the building collapsed into an old railway tunnel a few years after it opened.

Umass Amherst has a similar dumbwaiter. yeah that H & C lift looks great. Cornwallis building looks interesting though. carpeted walls are interesting. That Arona lift sounds neat. photonicinduction would feel at home in the strange equipment building. YES! you found a Dover Impulse on the UK. EXCELLENT :)

The library lift was modernised in 1996 while I was studying there. Before that, both lifts in the original part of the library had manually operated gates. I studied there for 3 years and never really used the lifts - Rutherford, Darwin and Eliot didn't actually have any.

Ben, you must come to Newbury at some point. Before you do, you may want to print some of those stickers the size of the town first. I think you may just as well, as from what I can assess of the lifts here from my own knowledge! You are going to need the stickers!
