I just found your channel today and I just subscribed; honestly your the only one going above and beyond with these theories. I was shocked about the back story to los alebrijes. I use to watch when I was 6 alegrijes y rebujos or misión sos. (Mexico City.) That’s the only reason I would know about los alebrijes. I think they didn’t want to copy write so they called it that way. They talk about these creatures!! That would explain in those two shows maybe the kids were dreaming as well. That’s crazy lol! Thanks for your content!!

This would make sense. However, there is one small thing going against this theory: At the end, we see Dante and the flying tiger come to the land of the living as a cat and dog. The second conclusion may not be true, but the first one could be.

There's one thing to consider. If all was irreal, then how could Miguel know Coco's father song so neat so as to make Coco herself remember it? Because this world was a fiction world in tune with Miguel's own perception and cognition and spiritual capabilities, but it had much truth to reveal at the end. Dreams are symbolically real, they are not fake at all, and can awake many forgotten or subconscient memories and transmit subconscious remembrances to awaken people.
