I had a P0420 and P0430 code coming up on my wife's 2005 Lincoln Aviator and I came across your video and gave it a shot. I only used half of the bottle because I had around 8 gallons of gas so I used my little cheap Walmart diagnostic tool to reset the codes and drove it for 68 miles in all no codes popped up so i parked it until the next day and still no codes when I started it up so I went to the mechanic shop at the corner from my house and let them do the vehicle inspection because it was time to renew the tags and it passed 100% and my wife's SUV had the check engine light on for the past 6 months because of the P0420 and P0430 error codes. I did reset the codes a few times but they came back within a few minutes of driving every time but I've only used it 2 days and the error codes are still gone along with no more check engine light no more either. So I can honestly say this worked for my vehicle and I'm a very satisfied customer and very thankful for you sharing this video a whole lot. Thanks

Glad I live in Mississippi and I don’t have to worry about government telling I can’t drive my car because it doesn’t pass some crappy tree hugger inspection because we don’t have inspections anymore Mississippi got rid of it years ago

It’s not just a tree hunger emissions test, it’s a way of control. I’m okay with a test but a test that based almost invisible parameter is insanity. They should allow a consumer the option to test the vehicle via the tailpipe instead of relying on the inspection monitors. Vehicles are a money pit, profit for insurance companies and the gas industry and possibly a common persons greatest liability in life.

Great video. I did some reading a few months ago and the pros stated that if your car was produced after 1989 starting your car and letting the engine run can cause premature damage to your engine, the best thing to do is turn the car on and go. I have a 2008 GS350 and my VSC light came on so the mechanic used a similar device to the one you used to find out that something is going on with my cat converter so I’ll try that product to see what happens.

New vehicles do not have carburetors so we don’t need to warm our vehicles up any longer. However, I’m not sure why allowing a car to idle so we can get the heat going in the winter time would cause any damage to a new vehicle. Que sera sera to each our own.

@@luisponce1472It doesn't last long maybe 100 miles or so (depends on vehicles my civic si it came on in 60). This stuff is really meant to be used for clearing the code and IMMEDIATELY going to a smog shop once the code is gone and all your monitors are set.

Hello @RANDOMFIX. I got a 1997 4runner .When I smoged it, it passed emmison but failed because catalyst monitor and evap monitor were incomplete. I've driven over 100 miles non stop trying the catalyst drive cycles but no luck. Keep in mind I got no Check engine light either. Do you think the cat is bad thats why the monitor wont set. Just alittle confused because it passed the emmisons part of the smog.

You catalysts is old but it doesn’t mean it is bad. Here is the whole the catalyst incomplete playlist kzfaq.info/sun/PLDEbtVOPRC-h1BAzaWQ-6NSnmG0gwvgwP If you have already tried a chemical Additive I would not use any more but if you got the budget for it I would grab the big bottle of Techron and be ready for some freeway driving to get the catalyst hot to it get it ready. You can try the 3k trick I show in the video to get the catalyst hot but you might have to do both. Also you evap is incomplete, so here is the Toyota drive cycle kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e7GWeNVjsbaWfqs.html I had a 2001 es300 that took me 800 miles to set. So be patient and watch the videos so you are not burning expensive gas for no reason. Don’t forget to keep your fuel within range. Good luck and keep me updated

@@RANDOMFIX UPDATE: I've been driving around done about 400 miles mix of both city and highway. I've been doing the drive cycles specifically for toyota for the evap and the catalyst monitor. Unfortunately they still haven't completed. I noticed that once I completed the drive cycle to the best i can insted of reading up the monitors the computer threw me a pending P0133 but now it just disappeared. Would I still have to get that fixed in order to set my monitors? Thanks in advance.

So after treatment, I hafto manually clear the code and hope 🤞🏼🤞🏼that the chk engine light doesn’t come back on?? Or will the light clear once I’ve run the car for a bit..?

so did you even have a p0420 /430 code?just curious what a i.m monitor/readiness monitor has to do with a monitor setting... the monitor will set either way, either with or without throwing a code.

Use Paint Thinner, 1 quartz mixed with half tank of gas, use until almost empty, it will clean the catalytic converters.

I have 2007 Honda Odyssey with 265K mi. P0420 came on every 150 or 200 mi. I bought 6 pack Dura lube last month, put 2 bottles to the 21gal tank and fill it up with 93oct gasoline. This week, I already used the last 2 DuraLube bottles... The P0420 is still pop up every 150 mi or so. There's no other code other than P0420. I drive mostly highway with AC off like you said, unfortunately I have no luck like you are. The only improvement I get during the test period is my van feel more power, better MPG, that's it, but P0420 keep coming back after I reset it.

Thanks for sharing, what caused this issue on your honda in the first place is the question to ask? Please check to verify your catalytic converter’s honey comb is intact by Henry tapping it and listen for rattling. Second thing to do is very you have no exhaust leaks before the downstream o2 sensor ( the o2) after the catalyst) Let me me know what you find. What state are you located in?

Also check those O2 sensors. They may be burnt out. Check your air filter spark plugs and give it a tune-up with oil change before you look at buying new cats. Just to rule out can also look at pcv valve. These will give you false P0420 codes.

Hello I hope you help me I also have the code p0420 I saw your video and several videos to convince me to use this product I bought it from the store he told me to fill the tank and pour everything into the bottle I got to my house then I went back out I was in the highway and I realized that I had to put e. 3000 rpm to reach 100km when normally it is 2000rpm and from that the power began to drop and the engine began to make a noise as if it were coughing I don't know if I understood myself and I had to get to one side I called my brother for help Then I tried to turn it on again and everything was fine. I returned home but I was 60 km away out of fear. Do you know why that is? It's because of the product. Did I do something wrong or do you know what happened?

@@RANDOMFIX most modern converters will throw the code at just 5 percent deficiencies ( EPA ) standards in US Take converters off and soak overnight in a solution of dawn dish detergent and water, then run some carbon cleaner through it , and let it set for about half hour, then rinse with hot water until water is clear and clean It will work probably f

The Evap will not set if the fuel level is off or the fuel is slushing around. What are you driving I can send you the exact directions.

Ok..Home Depot..2 cans PB Blaster spray/Heavy Naptha- Benzine in this..15 dollars..Spray both cans in 1/4 fuel tank...Run it at 55-65-75 speed limits posted..Byproduct is water/C02 steaming out tailpipe...Benzine is 115 octane.....

Yep I did it for my 2010 Honda 3.5 V6 coupe the code now sits in the graveyard OBD 2 codes got my lacquer thinner from Walmart removed the air fuel ratio sensors late that evening pour some directly in to bank one front and bank two rear cat and then put some into tank hasn’t come back in over 6,000 mile now 🤔💯⚠️

Heres the deal it works and better than cataclean. 1/4 quarter of tank of gas. Pour in a bottle. Drive ,drive,drive until before empty. Fill up do yourcars drive cycle. If your cars cat is clogged run 2 bottles thats what i did the first time. Good thing is if it doesn't work for your car you get your money back.

I just did mine today (durable 100km drive) light is off for now, but gonna save up for a new cat, thank u for this! the funny thing is though when i scan my obd scanner to the car, it deletes by itself, then comes back on minutes later.. but after the duralube its not on yet… lol!

Thank you for sharing, was the catalyst the only unset monitor? Did you let warmup for a 10 to 15 minutes before hitting the highway?

Exactly the only real fix is a new catalyst after you fix the reason that catalyst went back, example burning oil or rich fuel mixture. For some people and some vehicles you are trying to just a pass for the next two years, it’s like that 007 movie, die another day.

Lol, did you watch the video? I had a p420 code. It does not matter if your check engine is on or off if the inspection monitors are not ready you will not pass an emissions test.

Here is the drive cycle for dodge kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mt-JqZd51b-0qac.html Here is tool-less ready check so you know when it is ready. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hZeCe5CmlsiyeZc.html On thing have experienced on dodge ram jeep is that if the battery is not perfect the o2 monitor will not set. So you can leave the headlights on and engine off for 10 minutes. Then 10 minutes later check the voltage of battery to make sure it about 12.0 volts. Study the videos but don’t forget about the battery and keep me in the loop.

I have the video paused at the point where you put the stuff in your gas tank and that you only are having 5 gallons in the gas tank of gas and I just paused it because I just wanted to comment that I don't understand that the instructions clearly say you're supposed to put in 16 gallons with the treatment so I'm going to watch the rest of the video and see how it goes but I'm thinking that wasn't the right thing for you to be doing

Good catch but I was trying run it at higher concentrations. You are se come to try 16 gallons instead of the 5 to see what sort of results you get. I mentioned something way more important in video that cost no money and has no adverse side affects. I hope you got that too, it was towards the end of the video.

it looks good but is not in to buy in Europa (Netherlands) and +/-18 dollars for 3 gallons(is +/- 11.61 liters) is not expensive if i tank in liters wat it kost in dollars with dutch prices its 26,xx dollars for 3 gallons at a cheap tankstation in the Netherlands prices are higher hier than in the USA its around 1.97 euro/liter and it going 0.14 cents upover a month

@@RANDOMFIX i dont know because im not a mechanic i only heard from the test station men that it works like that i drive a Subaru Forester SH 2.0 150hp. i know that the Netherlands has high import taxes for outside the EU including Great Britton after the brexit America (from Canada to Venezuela) Azia Australia Africa New-Zeeland so somthing Via Amazone that is outside EU is minimal 90 euro tax extra for a thing from 29 dollars (excl. schipping costs that was 20 dollars for a needle plate for a vinyl player) so thats why i dont order outside eu any more

I did not see one, but there is a code for the catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1. Po420 at the top of the reading. About 120,425 miles on it, so I don't think it's the C C, maybe the oxegen intake before the C C. What do you think?@@RANDOMFIX

Don't waste your money tried on 2003 Lexus ES engine on bought this garbage to give it a try not a damn thing drove 2 days around until I had a empty tank and it didn't work still have the engine light on and the code don't waste your money please it's another scam

Rewatch the video, I explain in beginning of the video. Does help set the cat monitor any faster! Even if it had a p420 code I can still get the catalyst monitor ready with or without this I mention some tips during video. Sorry that video is long
