Another terrific video. I vicariously watch every one. I have to say that your access to abalone is enviable. Abalone, IMHO is the filet mignon of the sea. Those Blacklip Abalone are enormous. In the US, most, if not all abalone are on our west coast, but they are a depressed species due to predation by sea otters. Our west coast does not have reefs, but a short, shallow shelf before dropping into the abyss, so abalone is a rare treat, and incredibly expensive. Enjoy your abundance. Nice that you found that canoe. In the US, that would be long gone.
