This little spot is just amazing for some wild camping, Bush cooking and if you had the Rod most defiantly a great fishing spot.

Another nice journey, I was a Caretaker at the Thompson Reservoir for 7 and a half years. I can remember cutting firewood one day and hundreds of huntsmen spiders came out from under the bark. Loved patrolling the Catchment area solo reading rain gauges on top of the surrounding mountains.

That would have been a great job mate. A mate of mine got covered in those really small black ants cutting wood in the bush. Had to almost strip off hahaha

Another great video and great camping spot. I'd love to go there because I like solo camping away from the crowds. Can you drop a small hint without actually saying where it is? e.g. which river it's on or which town it's near. Keep up the great work. Cheers, Rodney.

Could you tell us what Victorian high country roads are accessible for 2wd vehicles for the ones who don’t own 4WD and unable to afford 4WD due to be on tight budgets and would like to go camping? Please and thank you

There's a lot of places you could get to but keep in mind of the change in weather. If I was in your boat depending where you are located I'd start with Sheep Yard Flat just out of Mansfield.
