But if I could only pick one for my team, I'd pick Randy because I know every throw has a shot even with a mediocre QB. We saw what Randy did with Culpepper early in his career and we saw what he did with Brady later in his career after he was supposedly washed up. He's #2 in most stats without the supporting cast. Fun debate! Moss was great especially early in games and when his running backs were doing good( easy play action T.D.) Giving him space to get going and sitting on your heels is the worst thing you could do. Had to get up into him to have a chance. Corner is one of the hardest positions in the league, your point about defenses not being that great is valid but not Moss's fault. And the video's right in that he changed NFL defenses and the way safeties play over the top to prevent the big play. He changed the playing field literally, forcing WLBs and FS's to shade his side and push back an extra 1-5 yards. the All-22 shots of defenses versus Moss were comical, safeties 18-25 yards back (all that room for posts, seam routes to TEs as offenses evolved. He wasn't Rice, he couldn't run the whole route tree but he changed the game in different ways

Rice played in an era where defenses were geared toward stopping the run and did not play deep cover 2 or other zone defenses geared to stop the deep ball as often as they do now. Moss could definitely play against physical corners. There is a video on youtube documenting that actually. Fact of the matter is Moss could burn anyone deep if covered 1 on 1, which is what most the coverages were in the 80's. If moss played in Rice's era with those defenses, Rice's team and QB, I would argue that Moss would have better stats than Rice did with the 49ers. Moss would burn defenses deep so many times it would be like backyard football.

Adam Lambert I am 200% a Patriots fan. What Amendola did was nice but Edelman is still the main guy. Even with his drops which were costly he was still fed the ball and still made plays since the beginning of the game. Tyms most definitely can be that stretch the field guy if they use him more. He has a lot of fight, speed, and good hands. It would be nice to see either Tyms&LaFell or Tyms&Dobson on the field at the same stretching the field for either Gronk&Wright, Edelman&LaFell or Edelman&Amendola. Either way its gonna be nice when they get all the pieces in place and in sync. One person that I really can't wait to get back is Siliga. Could you imagine a Hybrid 3-4 with Wilfork, Siliga, & Walker studying the pocket? They would dominate cause they all can take on two people and are sure big bodied run suffers unlike Chris Jones's who works best on pass rush. Then you could have Jones&Ninkovinch on the inside in an "A" gap for the run or on the outside for the blitz & pass rush. Hightower and Collins could get on the outside where they suppose to be our they could have two on the inside so that they could have either 2 CBs & 2 Ss or 3 CBs(Revis&Dennard on the outside with Browner on the inside taking on the TEs) & 1 S. Once Browner catches his breath no one should be able to run on us with the backfield we have.
