A Les Paul into a Marshall and add a distortion plus in front and an MXR 10 band EQ and a wah. Then you'll have the sound but not the heart.

@mr.timebombman22306 ай бұрын
@@knightfall9394Yep. Back in the early days, he played those quite often. Especially the Destroyer, which Adrian had as well.

One of my favorite Randy solos is in S.A.T.O. I heard a few licks that reminded me of that song. Now I have to go listen to it!🤟
@wjatube8 ай бұрын
so glad someone acknowledges that solo. I was 13 when that song was out and as a young guitarist I copied some of it in an original and it has stayed with me for 40 years. At the same time Crowley is the pinnacle solo that one-day I may close to playing. haha.
@montyrayza72207 ай бұрын
@@wjatube I mastered both Crowley solos the same year the record came out. No tab, No KZfaq, to a T - love Randy

Great sound, out of this world playing too. Used the correct input. Still not Randy. We all search for his sound, but none of us have his soul that is the true creator of music.

@wmehar2 That's true, Randy never played other people's songs (with the exception of the Sabbath songs he played live with Ozzy). He never copied other people, and I guess that means his fans produce their own sound similar to how he did himself. He was a true inspiration ^^

@djtazzle Dude read my comment once again, "For all you people saying this guy sucks why dont you try to do the style of Randy Rhoads as good as this person does" basically saying that this guitarist is great at pulling off the style of Randy Rhoads, but it isnt Randy Rhoads (there will never be another Randy Rhoads) . Rhoads is one of my favorite guitarists, and he made the best Ozzy albums. His stuff with Quiet Riot was great to, and it should have gotten more recognition than what it did.

Nice! In the style of not an exact replica and that's cool in my book. Looks like an Edwards custom. Just picked on up but not crazy about the JB in this one. Would love to know what pup he had in the bridge position of this one.

why are people such critics when it comes to guitar? like just listen to them play, their not even saying their better then u or anything
@chrshammer15 жыл бұрын
That was great Not to take away from it but it is not quite Randy Rhoads. Randy Rhoads always does something when playing that when you think it can't get any better he just blows it over the top leaving the listener amazed. It is always just subtle things like sliding up on the E string to the 15th fret and then bending it over the side of the fret board or riffing out in pentatonic scales blending over into a diminished scale and finishing out in a major seamlessly. It's like what the hell

@Max_Kleiber16 жыл бұрын
it doesn't sound like that naturally. it's a plexi, and it's LOUD! even randy used a MRX distortion plus to crank up his sound as the amp only crunches little. if you want the "actual" distortion of the amp, turn up the volume and ruin your ears :D but in the end, it sounds awesome anyhow.
