What he be capable will never be known in such a short time and a tragic death look at the innovation and mixture of style and such a good person just kept to himself never made a fool from the glam focused on what he was meant to do and was lost in something stupid I guess I hate to say that that the Good die Young could mean a lot of things what I would give just to know what he'd be capable of and to see him play it live or just hear it or just want to play it my first song I ever learn to play was crazy train all I attempted many songs before that but I was probably holding the guitar on my lap just all the sudden came to me and next thing I know diary of a madman I was playing probably the intro better than I can now but I didn't even know how to tune a guitar I did everything by ear once all that other stuff came into play which I now know now I just makes me so happy that I was determined to learn that song and I did because I practiced and I was determined you can do anything and you can play anything you want as long as you want to another idol or should I say inspiration past evh you know I hate when I see these comparisons of guitarist listen I am no one the judge anyone in no way am I any prodigy but someone asked me who my favorite guitarist is there's so many I don't have a favorite it's impossible for me to answer that they're all different in their own ways and they're all my favorite they're all inspirations they are all great either it be classical jazz blues metal whatever it is as long as it was taken and played with heart and soul and done the best they can do it's just a stepping stone for my learning and knowledge Al di meola was Randy's teacher Randy was teaching people at 14 years old I was taking lessons at 14 years old bye a guy that was obviously overcharging me and it's kind of funny I never realized he was playing through all these effects and a high gain out of an amp you know what I was on an acoustic or just plugged in that could barely hear that made me stronger I didn't know what the reason was at the time of why after practicing I just as stupid as it sounds just couldn't hear it or get that sound believe me I remember the day when I started to adapt and I was playing songs that this guy was blown away by because I was determined and obviously I had an ear I'd break a bunch of strings trying to get tuned to the song but I learned the hard way which is usually the best way yeah I can plug into a nice pedal board now and basically enhance and make these things so much easier but never forget the day when I went to that lesson and I was playing songs off of Blizzard of Oz and that was back when you had tape decks rewinding rewinding rewinding fast forwarding hours hours hours finger bleeding but determined and it was worth it I'll never take that for granted and for anyone that is starting or thinking about picking up an instrument you can play anything you want as long as you practice there is no limitations to anyone will it be easy probably not if it's something that's difficult but is it impossible nothing is impossible just like my grandfather used it tell me when I would come home and he'd ask me what I did today and I'd say nothing has a little child he would say that's impossible and I look at him and he'd say did you get up this morning are you breathing right now did you go to school did you come to see me he says even if you die you did something so don't ever tell me the next time I ask you and respond nothing there's people with disabilities etc etc I'm not trying to be no preacher or saying things that I haven't experienced or at least can vouch for but some things come easy the individuals some will say but a lot of times you don't realize your special gifts or your potential I've been fortunate to be involved in different sports trades yes a lot of it was because of the environment I grew up on etc gave me an advantage someone would say but an instrument was different I didn't need the property to be able to shoot or to ride etc etc IDK I am very fortunate that I had multiple hobbies and was at least halfway decent at them IDK I tried to do my best at all of them and then there was also the same find one or a few and Excel at them if you want to but you need to focus harder on one if you choose that route and if you do you do it with everything you have I never went that way unfortunate enough to run heavy equipment which must have been in my blood is my profession it pays the bills but then again that comes along with I am a mechanic I know how to do masonry etc etc I'm very fortunate but my hobbies I didn't choose for a profession but I've been playing guitar and trying more and more to get back the one I had that year and just that sense I could put something on and play it and I got it back and I am so happy and grateful that I lose that I've been through some rough times losing my parents recently etc and that came at the perfect time for me to get just a little bit of a pat on the back that there was something good and positive to remember back to being in grade school saying school sucks in high school and now I wish I could go back to that in a blink of an eye if given the chance but yeah it kept me strong and it keeps me young I have some preference to music I play and listen to but whatever is good I will listen to whether it be classical jazz blues rap heavy metal I do like my '80s Rock I do like heavy metal I do like classical I do like jazz now it all just comes in play yeah I might look like a lunatic being able to play hair metal band music to a T and then be able to go to the next hour of Metallica Megadeth etc etc I just bought a brand new guitar everything is loud as hell in color total 80s retro I have many of them from ESP to Kramer's beyond creamers I have holy Grail vintage not the repo nothing wrong with them but whatever they're all coming back it's just a shame kids don't in my opinion know music like a lot of people in different areas just because of the way it is I mean their computer savvy and very intelligent with that because that's the way it is but back in the '70s which I don't know too much about wish I did and obviously the sixties but the '80s and just hearing about the 60s and 70s from my brothers and sisters it's just not like that now MTV obviously must have made an impact on me but things were just different and things change I tried to get my son to play guitar fall into the best teachers whatever he needed I could have taught him myself but I know it would have been an argument and it just wouldn't have worked and I wanted him to learn how to read music etc I just didn't work for him and I was discouraged he would watch me play something just real quick and he'd be like how do you do that and I'm like that's what I'm trying to tell you you can do this his fingers are twice the length of mine at age 14 right now he is following another passion of mine culinary I just wish that children and people take advantage of as much and as many things that you have the opportunity to that's the bottom line I know this thing is about an encyclopedia long but it's from the bottom of my heart and I believe it's true and I know it's true if you believe and you practice and you have faith in yourself there's nothing you can't accomplish and I'm not going to get into dumbass crazy things but basically I can always go back on and I do want to start doing the other things either at the racing motocross BMX freestyle I love shooting guns bow and arrow etc etc so many gifts I was given and I'm not going to take them for granted my parents obviously even though they got divorced and at the end always loved each other and would have gotten back it was for a reason but they're together at last LOL but they obviously the best parents I can ask for never take advantages what time and dwell over little things that you cannot change go on and take advantage of the opportunities especially while you're young you will give anything to have that time back if granted I know I would give anything the money in the world to go back and I can honestly say I wouldn't change much if anything but I got the future I'm going to make the best of it life is short bottom line enjoy it while you can

The drumstick hit me right in the chest! As if Gonzales was saying quit beating the shit out of that poor bastard & watch our show! LOL Both Armored Saint & Metallica with Cliff kicked ASS!!! They played our small city of about 55-60,000 people. Eau Claire,Wi. They played the Old Mill Center there in Eau Claire. King Biscuit Flower Hour recorded it,it may have even been played live in there radio show. It's on KZfaq.

I met Jake E Lee on the load out ramp behind the coliseum in Knoxville in 89 where he was playing with Badlands. The thought that we were standing where Randy left his final show wasn't lost on me, nor I'm certain was it lost on Jake. Randy Rhoads, Ozzy, Jake E Lee, Metallica and last but not least, Alice Cooper saved my fucking life and I am eternally grateful!

That's Wolf Hoffman from the group Accept on guitar.....he is a fantastic guitarist, and even he still had trouble playing it like Randy did. The guy was just very talented.

I am wondering if a beautiful female vocal would sound kick ass. Maybe it's been done already, but a lot of female doom metal singers are so hauntingly beautiful. I'm going to look it up
