A few weeks after finishing my Florida Tour with @KatinaEatsKilos, I started a Midwest USA Food Challenge Tour. For event #19, I traveled to the Westport KCMO area of Kansas City, Missouri to become the first person to attempt and help kick off the brand new Middle Eastern Mega Dinner Feast Challenge which was a supersized version of the Jerusalem Dinner Feast on their menu. Jerusalem Café has been spreading hummus and serving up delicious Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food dishes in the Westport area of KCMO since 1989. I had 1 hour to feast on an appetizer platter with stuffed grape leaves, falafel, hummus, pita bread, and Greek salad and then the entrée platter featured curry chicken skewers, lamb kebobs, and beef kifta kabobs, plus gyro meat, chicken shawarma, rice, fries, and more, plus a Kunafa cake for dessert. Along the way, I also enjoyed an optional lemon mint frozen non-alcoholic drink. I was trying to become the first person to win my $150 Middle Eastern & Mediterranean meal free plus a spot on Jerusalem Cafe's Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with Jerusalem Café for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to the amazing people who came that Sunday afternoon to watch and meet me!! I appreciate everyone in Kansas City, MO and all around Missouri who watches videos and supports our efforts!! There are many more Midwest USA challenge videos upcoming!!

Jerusalem Cafe's Middle Eastern Mega Dinner Feast Challenge in Kansas City, Missouri ($150):
- Jerusalem Cafe has been spreading hummus in Westport, Kansas City, Missouri since 1989.
- This food challenge meal is a supersized version of the Jerusalem Dinner Feast on the menu.
- Begin your feast with a trifecta appetizer of hummus, falafel and stuffed grape leaves, accompanied by pita bread and your choice of 2 sides of Greek salad or lentil soup. The second course (entrée platter) comes with lamb, chicken and two beef kifta kabobs over a bed of rice and fries with sides of gyro meat and chicken shawarma on top. End your feast with your choice of two baklava’s, two halva’s or one Kunafa for dessert. I had an optional lemon mint non-alcoholic frozen drink with my meal!!
- My Middle Eastern food platter had all that, just lots more than the basic dinner feast offers.
- There is a 1 hour to finish everything. Winners earn the $150 mega Mediterranean meal free!!

@mary... I'm familiar with Irani food.. I thought there was only 2 types.. Kebab and rice or rice and kebab... My experience only...lol

@@joshrogan9854 no we have a vast diversity of foods. Different kind of kebabs, foods with just vegtables and different soups, rices. We have something calls khoresht like: ghormeh sabzi, gheimeh, beh, khorak, fesengoon, ... We also have Abgoosht and dizi and Ash that have different kinds in different cities. Kebabs are also different in differnet parts of Iran but some of more popular ones are: koobideh, soltani, chengeh, shishlik, .... We also have traditional breads that are unique for each part of Iran. Hope that this was helpful for you😌 Try our food. you'll love it❤️

@@DavidNgo86 when I was real young I used to occasionally go to an all-you-can-eat place with my Yiayia. She is so small, like a little bird. She could hardly drive, let alone see over the steering wheel. But she always got us there and once she did -she would eat continuously for a couple of hours straight until the time was up. She'd encourage me to eat more, eat more. In heaps of different tones. Like 'eat more' all supportive. 'eat more' more like disappointed, then the like, 'eat more' all sad. She played all angles for me to eat more. So I did. I ate and continue to eat for my Yiayia. Not for someone else's Yiayia..... You feel me?

Wow the food looked amazing!! Even the plates themselves were really pretty, i like the designs on the blue rimmed main plate. And the big mural behind Randy and the comfy looking booth seats... I really appreciate restaurants that pay attention to detail, and this one looks like an amazing place to visit!

When I was younger/working at a Greek restaurant we made our own baklava and I have never suffered more than trying to create it. Lol. When I eventually got the hang of it…oh yes…it was good.
