Best video clip on your views of what works best . I'm older and realizing that the present endeavors of my job is slowly sucking the life out of me and to see the joy and detail of what works and what doesn't is impressive and inspirational. WAY TO GO BRO. Love a true blue dj with the heart to tell us how you feel. The hell what people say. Half these dj's haven't spent as much time as us djing. I learnd on technics 1200 mk3's on vinyl. This is the new digital era. They don't know what we do. Haters i have a word for you...., SHHHHHHHHHHH

I like the non script format, feels more in touch with the audience. Also I am glad you don’t sweat what people say regarding negative feedback. You are out there doing it! Most of these peeps get lost in the gear and remove themselves from the art. You keep it up!

@dj du. what do you rather; 2 digi decks cdj 3000s e.g. and a mixer or a dj controller such as rane 4?

I just purchased the Rane 4 last week ,but still in the box. I am debating if I'm gonna keep it ,because I heard a lot of DJs getting a replacement. Apparently,there are a lot of DJ's that are complaining about the platters. The right platters from what I have heard is non responsive! That's a big deal breaker for me. This is coming from a lot of KZfaq videos Ive been seeing. All have the same issues with it. Im trying to see if this issue has been fixed with an update or not since then. That's why I have not unboxed the Rane 4 yet. Any comments on the issue?

I have a Rane Four since 2 months ago, it is working perfectly. I had a problem with the jogwheels and it was because I didn't take the jogwheels protector plastic off... You know, jogwheels are capacitive one, so do not cover with anything. Now everything is working as expected.

Let us know what controller you're using now..... I have an old DDJ SX2 and I love that controller. I have not found a controller yet that is worthy of replacing it. Good video and I feel the same way you did about the DDJ 1000 SRT.

My bet is on Rane Performer. He won't tell us what it is and they've been giving it out to a fair few DJs. Lucky git if so. I'm dying for that controller.

Rambling on… crew….😂 i just bought.. my Rane4 and Recieved it as of 4-26-2024🎉, did all the driver setting up and Rane Update Too!!!!… gotta figure out Where to connect my I Rig on the Rane 4????, 😮🤔😳🥹, i owns Technics MK2’s, and PLX 1000 turntables w/ phases…had Numark mixdeck, DDJ-1000 and cheap buttoned Roland 808🥵🥶, So thats my background basically….😅 peace and love and its So many buttons and options, please tell me Where the I Rig Goes on controller, normally it would go in Booth, but Sound came out in Large speakers, So That threw me off? smh lol

Same the venue I work in had bought one and a month later the jog wheel is buggy and one of the filter pots have gone 🙃

Yes for real the left platter has issues yes I contacted Rane but because I’m in Thailand it’s a pain in the ass to ship it back to gear4music F that I should not be paying For all that shipping cost

Neither for me. Im 100% standalone. 2 denon sc6000m's. Denon x1850 prime mixer. I love prime but the advantage of vdj or serato is having 3 screens. And if u got a surface pro 8 or 9. All 3 then are touchscreens. Them controllers just cant cut it for me

get a controller with a screen, they both don't utilize jump drives and you can't see what you are doing without a crappy laptop

Gator backpack with a decksaver will be great. The jetpack one is better imo just because it has wheels. That thing gets heavy after a while.

REV 7 is in the scratch battle format and feels more realistic but I can get down on both.

I use two computers. Sometimes I use my M1 MacBook Pro and recently I’ve also been using a M3 MacBook Pro.. one has 16 gigs of ram, The other one has 18.

I used all the technology I can. I’ve been DJing longer than probably 99% of the people on this channel and started in 84 on Vinyl when I was 14 years old. All I know is I’m doing something right. I played every which way and even have rocked houses with one turntable. Sorry, that’s all you took away from this.
