It's finally time that my very cheap 194,000 mile Range Rover got a well needed service before a road trip, ofcourse this doesn't go to plan...

Pipe goes over the suction pipe on a 4.4 so you did it correctly 😊

Also, on the cabin air filter the new one looks dark because it contains carbon/charcoal in the element. On the genuine cabin air filter there is a directional arrow on one of the edges to help insure it goes in the right way. Not sure if the non-genuine filters have that.

That oil on bell housing cross member is a sign of oil cooler gaskets leaking or the O rings into back of it from turbo pipe

Interesting, i have smelt warm oil a few times after a drive... dammit Thank you

@@RoughRestoswas smelling oil on my L494 4.4. Bought the gaskets for the oil cooler and the o ring for the oil feed line. Right treat if a job to do. Was nearly finished mine and leant down with my right elbow and snapped the radiator breather line 😂
