You need to change them gearbox oil like that about 3 times in a row to get all the old dirty oil out or take it for a gearbox flush .

My dad god bless him used to have a Vauxhall Carlton it was always chucking lights up but we could never really find anything wrong with it so he’d stick tape over the lights and forget about it and it lasted for years 😂😂 I wouldn’t advise it though 😇 the interior on that car reminds me of Deadpool !

The gear box will have a filter inside which you can change mate

To get more dirty gearbox oil out, just put compressed air through the fill plug for a short while.

The second code is for a cylinder head temp sensor fault which will mess with your air fuel ratio👍

you are now onto the big stuff LOL if it is a auto box more than likely the solenoid will be in the gear box talk to a auto specialist , and a X5 will cost you a fortune in fuel so my mate says, thanks for the video

Your method of changing the gearbox oil assumes the level was correct on the first place - why not do it using the two piece drain plug then you know it’s correct? You do know how the tube and inner plug works don’t you?
