The Velar is the more competent SUV in this video. Despite the driver not airing down (and not even knowing how to drive) it did better than the rest. The Mitsubishi driver is the only one who knows what he is doing

Some of these turkeys have no idea how to drive a 4x4 in these conditions. I took my X5 to the Simpson Desert in Australia’s outback which is sand hill after sand hill for over a hundred kilometers. If you know what you’re doing you can get over them all, most of them far worse than these little mounds. Tyres are also important. The guy in the Velar has no idea here. ‘This is a most competent off reader if you know how to drive it. Pathetic.

Got stuck in similair sand last week with my grand cherokee ...specially if u have bigger rims , had to reduce pressure to very low , then it was magic

velar driver has too much of a heavy right foot. when on sand, you need light throttle movements, sand mode on the terrain response and low range 2nd gear

these guys are all flooring it basically throwing up the sand and losing the traction. When you go lighter on the throttle you get more traction in sand. not one clip of the velar or VW guy even trying to go slow

I mean this in with the upmost respect when a ask this genuine question... Why are white males so destructive? Nobody else would do this to recently bot luxury sedan or family hauler crossovers.. I even seen videos of them rock crawling and mudding young family hauler crossovers and newer luxury sedans.. Bashing them around, destroying them and laughing all the while "Hehehe my bumper fell off my 60k luxury sedan HAHAHA i destroyed my right suspension, control arm and axle hehehe hahaha y broke my driveshaft on my new Audy luxury Sadan WOOOOOOHOOO!!
