Let's be honest here, incredible back luck for Sean this game. Winning maybe a single roll off could've changed the game completely after breaking. Both played good though.

The Quality of the Battle Report is unmatched anywhere else!!! This is so cool and fun to watch. But you could show the player's reaction a bit more often to see the emotions behind the battle. In this case I mean of Alex because Sean was seen dying inside a few times. So my request is kind of to show both fighters. But I must say I absolutely love your editing and detailed explaining of the figures, the scenarios and the outcome! You are doing such a great job! Keep it up. And the Tournament style is just so catching and fun to watch:D

Well played! @Sean while there were some tactical errors, I’m not sure what you could have done against the Taskmaster’s infinite +4 rolling compounded with not winning a single roll off. I loved the strategy to target the enemy archers to swing the shooting battle heavily in your favor. What happened in Turn 2? I was expecting a Heroic Accuracy and dismounting all Cav, forcing them to stay put another turn (unless a 6 was rolled on Thrown Rider).

Love the armies guys! Liking the fact that Sean might be starting to realise that d4 isn’t always as good as he thinks 😂 Also, obligatory rules point: Unsure if it’s just the voiceover or Sean actually forgetting in game, but Aragorn does provide a standfast to the Dúnedain as per the army bonus.

Man i'm a beginner and i just lost a game mostly because i misused the heroic march rule ! I believed everything in the heroic march range couldn't charge at all... Thanks for the explanation, it's much more clearer now (and much more op !)

Great Batrep. A pitty the Dúnedain lost this one but it kind of suits my experience - Rangers of the North have aged badly and dont have many good Matchups.

Great game. Shame the Rangers are not that good without beat stick heroes. They really need a buff, they're over well overcosted and average stats/war gear.

I love the rangers army but they’re not a tournament winning or even competitive army. Yes you get might but you use it all first round of shooting to get a few kills and then once closed down you essentially have 20 standard ranger level troops with pretty low fight and low defence. Only one attack and one wound etc.

I am sorry to say it, but rangers deployment is just like someone who play them first time and say: yolo! Absolutely miss understanding how to play them. All of them should be in range of 1 hero, who can call heroic shooting or heroic accuracy. There is litteraly no reason to split like that if you are going to shoot competition, and ranger player should know it because he deploy most of his forces second. In first turn of shooting he pay for it and already loose that game in my opinion. Turn three and he let charge dunedains by all heroes which is instant death for them. Dunedains should also call heroic fights to do them first and dont let evil heroes jump to another fights.
