Chris Kreider's career arc has been incredible. He was a pretty hyped prospect that became a very good NHL player but didn't seem to have reached his full potential. But he turned into a star when he reinvented his game in his late 20s and became a net front rebound/tip-in scorer. Now he's getting his number retired, tonight sealed it.

People trolled me for goin so nuts over the empty netters on livestream - its like...'have u SEEN the amount of late game pulled-goalie comebacks...ur living an insane comeback RIGHT NOW (Kreider getting a natural hatrick in an 8min period in the ending parts of the third to take us from down 3-1 to up 4-3 in the third before the empty net)

in under 9 minutes Kreider scored 3 consecutive goals in the 3rd period to CLINCH a playoff series, putting his team on his shoulders when no other skater was performing. that was truly awesome

Saw this exact team lose to the Sharks in San Jose. (Hertl GW’r video on my channel) 2 points each in OT game winner by Tomas Hertle (was traded VGK shortly after that game) but man that game was so intense. Not knowing they were going to be the President Trophy team at the end of the regular season adds so much more flair to the team for me. Go Rangers!!!

I have alot of friends that call themselves Rangers fan's yet, they said; the Rangers would be swept especially in M.S.G./The Jungle.... I however, have been a Rangers fan since 1969/70 till this very day... The never give up Rangers have proven them wrong..... Onto the next challenge.. Let's Go Rangers!!!!!

Not gonna lie brother, I was that kid back in the early '80's when the Islanders had to go through the Rangers for their stanley cups. My Heart broke 4 years in a row for Eddie Mio. And like back then, The Isles had Billy Smith, a goaltender that made the saves when they were needed, and Mio, like Anderson, could never make that clutch save when it was needed.
