My idol whom I have grown up watching her performances everytime ,attending her baithaks at her home as a child ,remaining awake till the wee hours hearing her beautiful rendition an being spellbound . Till the age of twelve I was blessed to see her n the stalwarts in the music industry attend these sittings after which we shifted home. Many years later saw her perform at Saptak in Ahmedabad n went backstage to just see n touch her feet. Was stunned to see my idol still so beautiful but was too shy to introduce myself to her. Today she is no more but her music n her memories will always be with me. ❤

वह क्या जमाना था!सारे दिग्गज कलाकार आसपास थे.यह महफिल का कार्यक्रम हमने बचपनमें मुंबई दुरदर्शन पर देखा था.तब संगीत की यह परिभाषा समझने की हमारी उमर नही थी.लेकीन समय के साथ हमने बहुत खोया है. पंडिता शोभाजी का ठुमरी गायन सदैव अविस्मरणीय रहा है.इसी कार्यक्रममें पंडित जितेंद्र अभिषेकीजी का भी सुश्राव्य गायन था.धन्यवाद.
