It is kind of hilarious. How some people constantly find themselves in drama. Then their response to constantly being in drama is that, "everyone else must be the problem." Req is one of these people. Normal people don't find themselves constantly making enemies, and embroiled in drama. At some point these people need to step back, and realize that the one constant variable in all of their drama, is THEM. And that maybe, just maybe. They might be the problem.

Did DSR with yama last week to help a friend of mine get the clear, after a couple of wipes in p3 and p4 he started to tilt in partychat, we had a couple good tries in p7 but after that the whole group disbanded. It takes 1 person with an attitude like this to kill the motivation for an entire group tbh. I have a couple others names of certain yellow parsers together with chatlogs. At this point me and my static stopped doing PF alltogether and just making our other clears in our raiddays, it's just not fun playing with people like this.

it's funny how reqs own friend feeded xeno with stuff about him and some of lpdu mods. also i recognize a lot of names in reqs circle of friends and protectors who are part of xenos chat and acting like they were never part of reqs harassing squad through entire Light PF just to defend themself from being exposed because now they might face consequences

At 25:28, the comment "Rec his not a bad player, he's just a whinge", I think that you misunderstand what makes a player good. Mechanical skill is part of it, yes, but mental fortitude and endurance in the face of frustration is a HUGE part of what makes the top players the top players. You can be the best mechanically skilled person in the world but if other skilled players are leaving because you're an asshole, that's a huge detriment to your ability to actively, you know, play the game at a high level.

I think the best way I can say it is this. All the guides, tools, strats and mathed out braindead rotations are figured out by other people. Most "good players" are not experts at the game, they're experts at copying someones homework. And xenos is exactly right, prog humbles people because it shows that they cant perform without all those crutches. Its probably why req avoids it like the plague until all that is figured out for him weeks later.

If you want to somewhat get back into experiencing week 1 prog, open up a pf for old extremes or savages (MINE heavily recommended, it won't get you the full experience from way back when but it will absolutely give you the blind prog experience even if the fights are easier due to power creep). You'll learn REALLY quickly that doing your job rotation correctly is the less important half of progging. Sure you need to beat enrage (or for older fights skip mechanics that you keep dying to), but what I've found over the last few weeks of just doing old extremes in pf is that the mental game is SO much more important. Progging is a fight of attrition. Each pull you learn something new, you become better at the fight, but you only have a limited stamina before you tilt and it's game over. A grey parser that you can raid with basically 24/7 because he's just so much fun to be around will get you a clear SO MUCH FASTER than an orange parser that you can barely stand getting through a lockout with.

The most unexpected "collab" because they most likely never met each other and just sent the original creator their voice over lines lol.

Yama is just as Sh*tty as req when it comes to pf, running it down for unknown reasons, all of LPDU is a cancer and they've only now started to try "fix" things since being caught out with req's bs, the whole discord is rotten to the core

I have always stood by this and always will. I will rather clear with greys than wipe hundreds of times to get a single purple or orange. I just want the clears. I do not care about my parse. My goal is to do mechanics and pull my weight in a fight to not lead to wipes. A clear's a clear.

Your ideal on the raiding team's morale is really important. Not that either groups I was with were super toxic, except a couple incidences. But morale was constantly shoved down further and further with talks about fflogs numbers. Despite doing mechanics right and my rotation and damage were decent for the time, my logs number was still grey, while everyone else was blue or higher. And this was week one, my first time raiding. My party was obsessed with their numbers, and it made me feel awful. The party lead kept reminding me it didn't matter because I wasn't making mistakes and we were beating the fight anyways. It's hard not to get sucked in with 6 other people won't shut up about it. My second try had a healer who would never admit fault. I only joined them once, before stopping. (I'm an anxious person and shouldn't put myself and others through that). I was partnered with a healer, forgot which savage it was, and I was being guided by another person who knew the fight well enough to help me and do his part. I was doing it right, but the healer kept saying I was the one in the wrong spot. Even after looking back on recordings, the party lead saw it was the healer messing up. But she was passive aggressive about it. It was a miserable experience, I muted myself, followed instructions, did the mechanics, and cried the rest of the time. I'm done with raiding now, I'm too soft, I have too much anxiety, and there's always gonna be that one person. If I could get my friends to do it, I would do it, but most of them don't care for harder content, not even on-content extremes.

"prog humbles you" if only it did, i know a few week 2/3-goal statics break up because a few people in the group join PF and lie about their prog point and get farther and they think they're better than the group because they got carried very easy to fix your own mistakes when you're the only one making them

LPDU being petty is honestly the best description there is, and I really feel like req is a good representation of LPDU in general tbh. I mean put simply, it's full of insecure people with zero social skills (this isn't true for EU players or well ALL EU raiders, but it's common when it comes to hardcore vocal raiders). I love ultimates and raiding, it's great fun, but I'm just so demotivated to do stuff because of the state of LPDU. I've been part of statics, and it's great, but often I find that pf is more convenient because I can do it as and when I want, but it's such a toxic and depressing scene that I just cba most of the time.

Well this never fails to get even more entertaining. Ngl, Req is an eyesore but God there have been way worse people in that LPDU server running rampant for a long time now. Seem to be part of the same clique but those are just people drawn by together by the same mental ailment. Wish it was brought to light

Fyi Req wanted to stream his prog, he tried multiple times. The reason he couldn't was that he kept crashing every time he started his stream. Req not streaming had NOTHING to do with him "focusing on prog" or w/e reason he made up, only to do with crashing.

The sad thing is that a lot of people on EU are like this, especially racial stuff. Before all this Req drama blew up if you asked people on EU about him you'd usually get "He's just unhinged he's not that bad" like that chatter in the middle of the video tried to say. The community would lose it if they heard some of the stuff that Entropy and Neverland ppl have said. The community needs to hold eachother accountable more

Crazy thing ive noticed in FFXIV Savage/Ultimate/ETC Raiding compared to the Raiding i came from back in my younger days is crazy to me. Like No one talks during pulls except shout caller, tanks for swap/adjust (only for this), Healers (only for Adjust/emergency/etc). Other than that no one talks and everyone focuses. I have friends that clear Ultimate and Savage every tier and ive watched them prog and how everyone talks and what not is crazy to me. I just come from a different time i guess.

I dont like FFLogs because I got kicked from a several PF re-clear groups because I only had 1 public clear. I cleared P5S - P7S and was doing prog in P8S when my static fell apart, so I went to PF for reclears later and now I dont raid anymore.
