Finally someone who also loves the Williams livery

My initial thoughts on the Chrome livery were that I liked it but the team could've maybe done a bit more than simply swapping some of the orange for the silver. But as the weekend went on it really grew on me, and not just because McLaren did really well. Honestly, with a few tweaks, I reckon Papaya and Chrome could work pretty well as a main livery. The Triple Crown Livery was brilliant as well as were Ferrari's Monza and Vegas liveries.

The Williams Las Vegas livery really look like just a lot of stock photos stuffed into the rear

You gotta keep in mind that the teams all use more black carbon this season in order to have lighter cars. But I still think that no livery this season was completely bad. I've seen way way worse in the past.

My tier list: Aston Martin: simply lovely Alpine: Eh Haas: alright (Without the moneygram sponser, the black, red and white looks decent, and I agree it's too much black) McLaren: alright Mercedes: perfect (The red for Nikki is beautiful) Ferrari: simply lovely (I loved this livery at the start of the year, but it's just gotten a bit blander. Their best one was the race at Tuscany in 2020, that burgundy is absolutely beautiful.) Redbull: eh (Basically the same each year with a little change) Alfa Romeo: Perfect Alpha Tauri: Eh (it just looks like it was rushed. The blue and white looks okay on it's own, but the red ruins it quite a bit) Williams: alright (I prefer this one to the one in 2021. The Duracell thing is quite cool but doesn't fit on the car's astethic. The too many shade of blues are what it doesn't put into simply lovely for me) Special liveries: Redbull: bin (I don't mind it, but worse than base livery) McLaren: perfect (Great livery) Alfa Romeo: Greatest (I just loved seeing it on the Monza weekend. Beautiful car.) Ferrari (las Vegas): Simply lovely (Like the car, debatedly too much red. But I like it) Williams: eh (not for me, too many colours but the Duracell thing definitely suits this car better) Ferrari (Monza): Simply lovely (Yellow adds something to the car. Just looks too similar to their base car to warrant anything higher) Mclaren (Silverstone): eh (The chrome look doesn't suit the car for me.) Alpine (Bahrain + Jeddah): Alright (Better than their base livery. Definitely close to simply lovely, but the blue BWT sponser doesn't suit the pink) Alpha Tauri (Las Vegas): Simply lovely (Wayyy better than their normal livery. The pattern is rather confusing but interesting) McLaren (Abu Dhabi): Alright (It's decent. I don't really like the sidepod design on the car, but it's not too bad) McLaren (Singapore): Perfection (Black and orange suits the car. I absolutely love it. Close to greatness but the black could pop more.) Alfa Romeo: perfection ( Black and gold suits a car like Alfa's. Only criticism is the gold could have been a bit less dampened but love it none the less). Williams (USA): Alright (Same car, just with a USA flag on the rear. Patriotic to say the least for Logan) Redbull (USA):eh ( Bland and just a few extra things added which are pointless) Alfa Romeo (spa): alright Not for me. The green takes away from the beautiful car) Alpine (palace): alright (Same car near enough, just with a little black.better than their normal one though as the blue is great) McLaren las Vegas: alright (Feels too similar to their Singapore one) Williams (Las Vegas): Bin (Same as the American one. Bit worse though) Williams (Silverstone): alright (Better than their other liveries. Definitely the same template, but the blue and white British flag actually looks alright on the car.) Didn’t Alfa Romeo run a sort-of new livery in Zandvoort? It wasn’t really much but there was some changes here and there

McLaren was handicaped for the Chrome Livery because they changed the base-"template" of their design for the triple crown livery. And all teams are only allowed one major change for the liverys and only for a certain amount of races then. So McLaren had to implement the Chrome while keeping that orange parts and also make it in a way similar to the normal livery. It really was great

Tbh I mostly agree with your list,but when you say teams like McLaren change all off the car when making liveries and red bull are lazy is wrong,teams need to have a recognisable colour . Like red for Ferrari , Mercedes black or silver, red bull dark blue, and teams should be limited to 3 liveries a season so it doesn’t confuse the fans , anyway good vid mate and ur underrated

McLaren in alright? That things horrendous.

Sorry but no. Will follow a teamxteam evaluation, but won't try to use your tier system. - Alfa Romeo: last year's car, the C42, is my current phone lockscreen, and I don't like Marlboro schemes even knowing it replaced another one. They already had a problem of not knowing what to do around the cockpit, it ended in a square that little had to do with the rest of the livery. For '23, they simply left home the white wrapping and that's already a downgrade, although I like the nose tip with the white enlarged AR logo. Las Vegas' black one should have been green because it's the color of all tables in Vegas, and more importantly because Pine Green has been a color AR raced in in the past, go see EuroRacing in the 80s. And this leads to the Italian one, that has a (beatiful)livery only on its nosecone. The flag on the engine cover dose not match its flow at all, even considering the pieces of wrap they used did not allow for a better result that's a car with two liveries into one, and not in a good way. And this leads to Kick, that maintained the original unwise color scheme and sprinkled green pixels here and there. You're right this time, it was distracting from the pre-existing work, but those acid green pixel-art details are the only thing that can save the Sauber erasing that's been made official, I do hope to see the Kick livery based on those details. (On a side note, there's a FIA mock up and a race livery themed after graffiti, always limited to details like the front wing.) - Alpine: talk to me when BWT pulls out, nice job at least with Penrose triangles as dissolvence, even though it could have been done better. The 'added depth' they did at Las Vegas its' laughable at best. - Alpha Tauri: no one liked their '23 work because the red was clumsily placed but everyone likes that same work with black instead of navy blue and a camouflaged pattern on it, with the red still clumsily placed. It's another two-in-one livery, no one seems to talk about it, with 'speed nails' details on wheel cover and a ripped effect passing from white to blue. These two details, that went ignored, and the fact that's been one of the fewer and fewer 'full body wrap' liveries, and the contrast between ice white and navy blue made me like this more than the '23 AR. - Mercedes: what they did was an excuse to run with bare carbon, even though there's some wrap around the airbox. Got poked unnecessarily somewhere on the Tube for the fact that the 'bare metal' legend was a lie, but I simply don't like that this series will be full of bare carbon cars if the trend continues. So had it personal against their work. - Aston Martin: a green car looking promisingly close to break the 'green car's curese', has the same livery of last year if not counting the bare carbon 'stripes', does a better job at publicizing a car brand than McLaren and should have not signed that deal with Valvoline, apparently companies can refuse sponsors if their colors do not match well, and AM-Valvoline maybe could have worked well with white instead of green. But I for one prefer that green for now. - Williams: for one, they're trying to make that 'Mentadent Crystal' racing identity work, with poor results if you ask me, for another they found an economic way to change livery on occasion(that section on the engine cover), and for the last one is that they ditched Gulf to protect that thing they pass for racing identity. During the poll I preferred Heritage but voted for Bolder than Bold, because the latter was approved by Gulf and had Wil's crystal pattern, and the 'speed blocks' did work on the engine cover. It pleased both parts and still went used as temporary. And for all of you that went crazy for an air intake turned into a battery, there's a venomous snake called 'copperhead', just playing with the word could lead with a copper colored nosecone and a scale motif in the right direction. Or there are other species called 'blue racers' if you want to keep the blue as your main color. At times I do seriously eat my own hands over the fact I never learnt to draw. - Haas: they made a tanktop over bare carbon, did not like tanktops since Alo's Renault and this sis only slightly better thanks to speedbloks on the engine cover. And foremost, anything but that failed A1GP/TMNF skin they raced with Mazepin. - Red Bull: got tired of their standard livery and the Miami one simply felt dead, Austin was already better and Las Vegas was a step in the direction of old Infiniti sponsorships, so I liked those two. - Ferrari: the 'paint the car red' team had a more vibrant shade than last year's and that was a plus for me, even considering the sidepods were too busy and that out of principle *I do not root for the racing theam itself*, the Las Vegas one could have used some blue due to NART since it was passed as an hommage to Fer's heritage in the USA, and then there's the Italian one. The 499P, the side project started for the brand to find luck elsewhere, has that yellow trasversal continuous line, from one flank of the car to the other. At Fer F1 they put a piece of that line and placed it on the engine cover, then on the tip of the nose, then made the numbers in yellow font. It was a job only done for 1/4, it had little to no link to the special racing suits they raced with, and it gets counted as a well done work. This already irks methe wrong way, but all the Tifosi where whining because they were seeing one-off liveries when the next Schumacher will be not in Ferrari's hands. Since they can appreciate color no more, I'd strongly suggest for them to erase color althogether from their racing brand, and race not even in black because that was assigned to Italy before they stole it someway to the USA long before the F1 championship was even instituted. So I wish they'd race in some kind of purposely depressive shade of gray, with only sprinkles of black and white allowed as accdent colors, and the cam switches to old black and white whenever their beloved Squadra Nazionale(because they refuse to distinguish between a private and their National Football Team, the farthest they go is aknoweledge one is red the other is light blue), this way 'til they can court the FIA(because that organ it's not super partes, and who gets to have it in its favor is whaat decides who wins, no thing else) and fuck the Championship as if it was a whore like it happened with Schumacher. I do hate the Tifosi, even though I'm Italian. - McLaren. I root for them because they want to challenge Ferrari on their same field, road cars, but I do have some problems with them. They're the ones who started this whole 'bare carbon' trend, they fail to do the 'just paint the car this color' thing that Ferrari and Aston Martin(and even Mercedes, when they did not use the black)feed off, and more importantly they refuse to design their liveries around the Speedmark(you, Reader, will not repeat to me like a parrot that the symbol is a stylised kiwi, because proofs that it's part of their past with Marlboro are various: [two links to be placed here] ), and this leaves a dissonance between road cars and racing liveries that apparently I'm the only one to see. But anyway. One thing I noticed is that they made experiments to get rid of the blue, cases at hand the Triple Crown livery(that stayed as my phone wallpaper for a long time, 'til I decided to put the C42 in its place. Still these two are exceptions, I don't like the Marlboro scheme), the Stealth Mode, and the unlucky Jack Daniels that also did the 'added depth' trick you praised on the Alpine but not here. Silver Stone was putting wrap in places that were bare carbon(and it didn't work because this current racing identity is trash period, but I may have already hinted at that) and the now traditional 'support to arab women' livery made me like blue more than many standard ones, the talked about scales but to me those looked like seabubbles, still sympathyzing for the 'anti-blue gang' though.
