San Francisco's Giants' Oracle Park was originally named Pac(Pacific) Bell Park so I'll always refer to their ballpark as that. Also, Citi Field easily should've been in the top 10 along with Kauffman Stadium. Oriole Park at Camden Yards DEFINITELY should be in the top 5

I still call Oracle Park AT&T Park because of the legendary games there. But I think Oracle is a much better name deserving of a top 10 ranking because of the word Oracle itself.

Even some of the old ballparks that aren't around have more cachet than them. Ebbets Field, the Polo Grounds, Braves Field up in Boston, Shibe Park, tons of the old jewel box ballparks.

As a Jays fan and Ontario resident I always hated that they called Rogers Centre a "Centre". It sounds like a Hockey/Basket ball arena and gets confusing when you have Rogers Arena in Vancouver and Rogers Place in Edmonton. When Rogers bought the team and changed the Skydome naming rights they should have called it Rogers Skydome. When you say Skydome, you know exactly what stadium it is and where in the world it is. Luckily, places like Arrowhead and Mile High kept it in the name when they sold the naming rights.

It's great when the sponsor becomes so synonymous with the name you forget it's the corporate sponsor. Wrigley is the OG corporate sponsor name and in recent times it's hard to beat Staples Center (although now it's cryptoscam arena or something).

I've always called Ring Central Coliseum either the Oakland Coliseum or Ricky Henderson Field, tbh I didn't even know they changed the name.

Marlins Park was always supposed to be a sellout name, but the process of building the stadium was such a corrupt boondoggle and everyone was so mad about the stadium that no company wanted to be associated with it. I personally find most of the corporate naming to be bad... the stadiums that are named for the team or the location (w/ exception to Busch.. simply because it is the 3rd with that name and it encompasses time before the cookie cutters... ) or just plain been there forever like Wrigley (though it's had that name because Wrigley actually OWNED the park for a while... not just a naming rights deal... SO many of the newer names just suck... I agree with the idea that it's had that name for so long you just accept it .ike Wrigley, Petco, Coors.. some of them get renamed every 2-3 years.. yuck.

I normally don't support socialist governments but one thing I approve is that any stadium built with public money CAN NOT have a corporate name in San Francisco. If you see a stadium or arena with a your name hear name in SF it means it was privately funded. All non sell out names are in my top 10.

In ranking how the baseball parks are named, should not one of the points be how much money that name earns for the team. All these bought names involves money. I am certain Finway Park name earns the Red Sox zero dollars, the same goes for Dodger and Yankee Stadiums. I would more interested on a listing in how much money the ballpark name earns for the team than your personal opinion. :(
