Firstly congratulations on ur 10k subs❤❤. Secondly i have some gripes with this. Firstly anime dante is after dmc 1 and ya abigail clashed swords with dante but the dmc anime takes place 1 year or so after dmc 1 while dante is in his mid 30s in dmc 2 so personally i think argosax should be higher than Abigail and interchangeable with mundus and devil sword Sparda dante. Again i cant see the saviour being above the demon kings in any way, aure hes durable but i cant see him beating the demon kings. I wouldve said hes below nightmare but now i remember Devil sword sparda sanctus is controlling it so I'd say its above Devil sword sparda sanctus. Dmc 4 trish shouldve been placed a bit higher, i think above beginning of dmc 1 dante, possibly above dmc 4 vergil also and dmc 5 trish above dmc 4 trish. I cant see dmc 5/4 lady beating berial so I'd think them above bael and echnida is about alright. Also i dont think beginning of dmc 5 Vergil should be placed that higher, i think above Devil sword sparda sanctus. Sure he may have ripped neros arm but nero was caught off guard. Aside this i think the scaling is prrety solid, Hoped Pluto wouldve been added in this list Edit: so I just rethink what I've said and the saviour was being powered by Devil sword sparda and Nero, that alone would be enough to place it above mundus and argosax. I still don't think it can beat them tho

doesn't the description of sin devil trigger dante in dmc5 say that he might be stronger than his father sparda, if that description isnt just bs that should put sparda up there with sdt dante and vergil right?

Honestly the way to Scale Lady/Mary comes down to her Skill/ experience and weapons. Her feats are small and conceptually you can argue her placement based on these things I'll list. 1.She teams up with Dante and has Solo missions because of the Anime/DMC4 canonically They all went to Fortuna in DMC 4 and fought mid to low tier demons and even in their intro. 2. Her and Trish Casually fight those demons. Honestly how Strong her Weapons are and her skills (even in DMC 3) we never see her struggle with Basic Demons in any game. 3. Even the creators know she can't hang with Dante and Vergil even if they are weak (since their 3 way fight in DMC 3 was supposed to be longer but was cut short for logical reasons) 4. In between DMC 4- 5 Nico was already working with Lady while as a Gun smith and we know how smart she is And how BROKEN her weapons are and she only got better because of DMC 5. 5. We even see Dante use her new Rocket launcher in the game and what it can do and if you pair it up with the original (now I would argue the double Rocket launcher effect is not purely an Easter egg if you find both of them) so with what we know and see what her weapons can do in good hands (Dante's) Her fire power can rival the best of them. Now if you wanna say her on her own I can understand C tier. But with the potential her weapons have and what we SEE THEM DO we know what they are capable of especially in the Right hands (Again Dante) I would argue DMC 5 Lady would scale like this. DMC 3 Bottom of C tier. DMC Anime/4 B tier most likely bottom of B or above Nero because of Pure skill and experience since he didn't have his Devil trigger/Yamato. DMC 5 probably top of B tier because of how insane her Fire power actually gets and she skill wise is just so much better. So much so Dante still acknowledged her strength and skill and in DMC 4 when we play her we can also see she Picked up skills from Dante (gun slinger stances and Gun moves) in the DMC Mobile game she is in there and part of the story so feat wise we might get more of her there soon as well. (Sorry this was super long) it's just fun talking about Lady and what her potential truly is even if we don't always see it.

Hey digital I have question for you; do you think that Vergil absorbed the devil bringers power. I ask this because it was never stated he did( if it does then I missed that) and then as Urizen uses the Yamato as a shield which when it is in that shield like state it has a similar color pattern to the devil bringer. It would also explain why Urizen is so strong ( with him feeding the tree, him getting stronger after the Nelo fights). If that the case it would parallel him with his brother even more. With Dante absorbing the rebellion, the tree, and devil sword Sparada. Then Vergil absorbing the Yamato, his son’s arm, the fruit, and his human half.

Argument could be made that Vergil lost at the end of DMC3 because he was using a weapon he had considerably less experience in (Force Edge) which is basically in the weapon field as Rebellion. Can also be explained in character since Vergil clings to Sparda's power so he'd probably use Force Edge more

Honestly, Base Dante has already surprassed Sparda In DMC anime, Aligi (This was the name I guess) states that his power is on par with Mundus, someone Sparda couldn't kill, so had to seal away And Dante just destroyed him at base form

You're underestimating Trish, DMC4Trish with the sword of Sparda is at least as powerful as DMC3 Vergil (And maybe she's even more powerful than nelo Angelo)

DigitalT I have a question to just like sort of see where you stand on this but who would you say is stronger Demon Beowulf or Demon Balrog. Balrog is never explicitly shown but just by the fact that he is stronger than Berial. Who would you say is stronger?

Im a little late but congrats on 10 k. Also people get confused on spardas scaling. But he is not even close to dante, vergil and nero. Sparda was diffinitivley surpassed by Dante in dmc 2. As sparda was stated to need help from lucias tribe to seal argosax. Dante at the end of the game proceeded to perception blitz argosax and one shot him in base. Needless to say, the DMC 5 descendants of sparda out scale that feat massively. No question sparda is no where near thier lvl. Im open to discuss this further if you disagree. Have a blessed day

So you obviously know more about DMC than I will, so I won’t argue my little nitpicks. But why in the world do you think Nelo Angelo is stronger than Nelo Angelo/Vergil in the final fight? That makes no sense gameplay wise, narrative wise, or lore wise? You don’t get weaker when you decide to have a last stand and put everything on the line.
