I think the worst thing about Cayo Perico is how it became its own kind of mini game for so many players. For that reason and others, I think the Agency is the best DLC

The reason why Los Santos Summer Special was so small was because Rockstar had planned for the Cops’n Crooks DLC to release as the summer DLC. They cancelled the DLC due to all the controversy with police officers at the time.

For me, Tuners DLC would have been great as you said, if instead of Sessanta and Moodyman they bringed characters more related to a mechanic and street racer role, examples: Hao, Benny or even Mimi and refine the dialogue to be more direct or skipping the cursing from over and over of some "Wannabe tough gangsters type of stupidity"

I still think the Mercenaries update is worse than the Arena War since it essentially "deleted" content by removing and paywalling almost 200 cars.

I don’t play GTA online anymore, due to the massive downgrade it’s been getting lately. I’m always hoping that GTA online will be a ghost town one day. But I can only hope. Someone like “Gtamen” (Another GTA KZfaqr) is the kind of KZfaqr who would most likely tells you paying Rockstar $500,000 a week just to play the game, is a great way to gain more “experience”. my favorite dlc is the contract because you get Franklin, Imani, Lamar, Dr Dre, dj pooh, and the most important character, chop. the dr Dre heist is pretty fun, along with the short trip missions. a very cool assortment of vehicles, my favorite being the patriot mil-spec.

2013 was definitely the worst as I remember having issues logging in and staying in a stable lobby. The final straw was when my original character was deleted and I lost progress. With the modder situation developing at the time I didn't return to GTAO until the casino update in 2019.

The funny thing is that updates like Cunning Stunts are extremely popular in the spanish community, tons of popular streamers and youtubers with millions of viewers play these on a regular basis and there's even some that have managed to gain a massive audience just by playing these on a daily basis. It's strange how some DLC's are recieved in other non english speaking communities

I started playing last year which is why I think almost all updates except the arena were great updates. After doing cayo, I was constantly thinking what should I buy next ceo office, biker, agency, bunker, nightclub, autoshop, arcade etc. This is the game I felt truly had massive content and it was an amazing experience.

The main reason behind the filght school was to give people a way to get better at flying to help with the OG heists. I don't really know how much it helped with that cause every time I tried to do any set up with a plane or heli people would crash all the time! Back then I remember a lot of people not even being able to land planes consistently. It's the main reason why to this day I insist on being the one to fly every chance I get. I GOT PTSD!

Two weeks since you had this video out and no one pointed out something you forgot about Gun Running. That was the update that changed how VIP worked. Instead of needing a million in your bank account, you now only needed $50k to start up an organization. That was the update that "fixed" the VIP mechanic of GTAO. You talked about how it was in the past (which I'm thankful for as tons of people forget), but you forgot to mention when it was changed. Professional, broski, I can't believe you forgot to mention it. I can't believe I forgot to watch this sooner, but that's another story. Even with that error, thanks for the video.

I wish Rockstar would make a GTA Online Mafia Updates and maybe like Gravetti or Petrovic or one of the five families of Liberty City and the storyline could be one of the five families want your character to help them to get into Los Santos.

The Doomsday Heist is my favorite update. It has great music, it's very cinematic, it has great action, it added more mk2 weapons, it added amazing vehicles, and it's about the only thing left in Online that can present a challenge to me.

Bikers was the update that brought me back to the game after a long hiatus to GTAO but I completely ignored the Los Santos Summer Special as my dad died a month before

The hot tub conversation between Sessanta and KDJ is probably the cringiest conversation from the tuners update, or probably in the entirety of GTA.

As shitty as the arena wars mode is, the cars are some of the most fun vehicles to use in free mode; Launching cars across the city, shunt hopping, sumo with friends, etc.

It was sad hearing how they nerfed the Cayo Perico Heist. I enjoyed every moment of it when it came out. I always made sure to set up a new one each time after completing the previous so it was always on hard difficulty for the higher payout. I remember doing the door glitch constantly to get the gold bars while solo. I grinded the hell out of the Cayo Heist. It is the reason why I was able to afford so much stuff. Some businesses I didn't have yet, business upgrades, vehicles etc.

I think Doomsday Heist was the last genuinely great update for GTAO. That's when the game was at it's peak. And since RDR2 was around the corner when it came out, I fully expected that to be the last major update, and everything would be shifted towards GTA6 and RDO. In hindsight that was obviously wishful thinking but considering the current state of GTAO, I wish that was the actual case. Before anybody mentions Cayo Perico, I will concede and say that was the best money-making update in the game, even moreso than the Casino Heist one. I still think Doomsday Heist tops it but I will agree that Cayo Perico is not that far behind Doomsday Heist.

Arena wars is underrated, it's just so different from what you expect outta playing gta that not many people go out of their way often to play it.

I love After Hours the most for me very personally The nightclub fits so much with own character who's originally a musician and probably the reason I expanded her character into an enterprising criminal. I loved roleplaying her masking as a night club owner who secretly has system of accruing contrabands and valuables. I love the Terrobyte and the fact Paige made it, is actually quite interesting. I loved the 3 different nightclub delivery vehicles. It's really sad though on one hand, I find the Oppressor Mk 2, on its own, a very aesthetically pleasing and useful but fun vehicle, but I agree with the consensus that it just doesn't fit the GTA genre and timeline, and its abuse by griefers.

Not finished yet, but I’m baffled vip/ceo are only in average, I think vip/ceo cargo are the some of the biggest/ most important updates

one thing they have never done in online really is the epsilon program. yes you have formage when you first get killed in online appear but no content with missions etc, they did have michael in story mode but nothing in online. maybe nothing good would work there, but seems like it might have some possibilities

The worst thing about all these DLC's is they broke the game economy from bad to worse. All kind of pay walls to boost sharkcard sales. And the countless bugs that came for free with them. OMG!!!, reloaded this game a zillion times.....😢

Happy 10th Anniversary GTA Online. Honestly, my number 1 best DLC ever made for GTA Online was actually The Contract. For me, it was the closest thing to what I imagined to be a perfect GTA Online update! It is so good actually that I run between the Dr Dre story and businesses as my GTA money method. Especially so since the Cayo guards detecting dead bodies became a thing… The contract DLC is just such a beautiful update for the following reasons: - Dr Dre story. - Freemode activities (Security Contracts and Franklin’s Payphone missions). - Imani Tech vehicle upgrades. - Franklin & Lamar co-op missions. - Nothing ridiculously overpowered or overpriced. - Missions & activities are well-balanced. - Something for both solo and co-op players. - Even the most annoying missions are tolerable compared to the annoying missions in other DLCs. - Not really set up to milk micro-transaction sales.

The tuners DLC got me back into the game in the first place, so it has to be in my top 3. Cayo Perico dlc, easily because I was able to afford all the cars from the tuners DLC. I actually enjoyed the drug wars dlc, especially getting the acid lab up and running.

My opinion of the content and short reasons as to why My best updates are: Cayo Perico (big money and map expansion) After Hours (passive pay from both areas) The Contract (love letter to GTA V story fans) LS Tuners (cool cars and cool min heists) My Great updates are: Heists (OG fun times) Diamond Heist (Cool approaches) Doomsday Heists (Cool story and good pay) Import/Export (Cool concept and ok pay) My Average updates are: Bikers (good money) Criminal Enterprises (I like the IAA agent thing- hoped it was better expanded and more missions) Diamond Casino Story (Good story and new location) Gunrunning (cool new ammo) Everything not mentioned is in the bad updates

To be honest, I'd rate it this way: 1. Cayo Perico Heist 2. Diamond Casino Heist 3. The Contract 4. Doomsday Heist 5. Heists 6. Bikers 7. Gunrunning 8. Finance and Felony 9. Tuners these updates are quite nice but with Cayo being nerfed to oblivion, it's just sad. Been playing 400 hours since the Epic free game scenario. nah, massive dissagree with arena war, it was so much worse than you gave it credit for. Back on the forums, there was a bunch of people, me included, that wished for the maze bank arena to be opened for YEARS. there were threads, there were youtube videos theorizing about it, there was so many cool ideas thrown about like monster trucks to deal damage to the surroundings, demo derby to deal damage to others by crashing in to them, rally cross races, dirt bike races, dirt oval races, nascar races, and so on. People might not have realised it but there was a sizable community that was wanting the arena. And what did they give us? An overpriced, paywalled, needlessly weaponised update that ruined the vehicles with new handling flags, too many cars of one type so none of them even feel special, gamemodes that dont pay, a progression system that is *literally* impossible to progress through natural gameplay, poorly designed/balanced/just unfun gamemodes that no one event wants to play, RC bandito that ruined the design of RC vehicles and has become a cancer in pvp, phone contacts that literally did nothing (and couldnt be removed at the time, remember), Laser weapons that let low level players access a minigun as long as they paid half a million, massive powercreep in racing with the itali GTO, Toros, and Clique, and ultimately was a slap in the face to the community. ill also say that mercinaries was worse than you gave it credit for too. removing vehicles aside (which is fucking atrocious), the dlc added some story missions you will do 1 time for the story but is also paywalled by the terminal which costs far more than you make with a 1 time play through of those missions. it also featured way more power than was needed with the raiju, and the avenger was already overpowered why did they give it more? it also added more needless nerfs to cayo, more changes that just harmed the regular playerbase more than the real target of the change, and the vinewood car dealer that was just another push for gta+. and *still* no E&E content on pc. if we had that there might be some silver lining that came close to the negative of the rest of the update.

Funny how the best DLCs are the ones that have little to nothing to do with the actual multiplayer aspects that are meant to be the focus of GTA Online. As we see GTA Online evolve to further be a single player game, I hope they continue this by continuing to give us quality of life improvements by making everything in the game be done by yourself, including the content that aren’t and are locked off unless you have another player with you doing it with you, such as the Casino story missions as a good example, to every single heist of old.

Payouts are horrible in arena mode but even Double money is lame, I honestly only play it unless it's triple or higher on payouts

The Contract should have been the last dlc that Rockstar should add to the GTA Online, and then released GTA VI with new multiplayer mode next year.

The Diamond Casino Heist and The Contract were my favorite updates. They were the last good updates I’ve ever played.

I agree most with of the list but the one thing I don’t agree with is after hours I think it was a great DLC, meaningful characters, great business and the oppressor mk2 saved me a bunch of time grinding over the years. I feel like if you’re going to take after hours down a tear then you have to take the doomsday heist down a tear because it added the orbital canon and the deluxo.But great video I love these tier list vids. Besides KDJ and Sessanta being annoying flirts they also treated our characters as if they were straight out off the street. Like I get that tuners was meant for new players but they should've at least added something to recognize that your character is a seasoned vet in theft smuggling and drug and arms manufacturing/trafficking. Like I get that tuners came our before the contract dlc but this should've been something Rockstar recognized before adding the stupid dialog

Agency Was great because I don’t have to play it anymore I made my 200 contracts and that’s the end of it for me, 13 mil and it’s all paid off, did the Dre contract 1 time and 20k a day is much better than having to restock or Swap DJ’s imo

I feel the Doomsday heist wouldve been A tier if it hadn't added the orbital cannon, one of the most game breaking features of GTAO that R* took an absurd amount of time fixing. One of the dumbest gamr mechanics I've seen outside of MW2's building 21 playlist being weekends only.

Hotring circuits are some of my favorite content in the game.

there is some things i will have disagree. one: The Cayo Perico hiest. Yes the nerfs are there but the payouts is not worth it anymore, that just killed it for me. I can get behind the cool down and guards seeing dead bodies as much the Judgarnut being buffed but the payouts? That is something i can't get pass anymore. That is way to stupid. Even with the major nerf is pointless with the payouts. That i can argue about. I would changed The number one with the Contract of Laimar and Freakin if i would have the number one. To me that would make it even bit better but still with all the other routs still ask the same question. "Is it worth doing it?" which hurts more the new grinders of the game who wants to do it but then nerf it to its dead, that is not okay. 2: as my opinion of that DLC is okay but i have done it with not much money, i have done it as much not even fun. Yes things get shot up which okay with but how bad the NPCs can just spawn, aim bot, and keep doing damage to a high end vechile someone who doesn't have much experience will be discourage to do it. I hate that DLC some degree, don't forget the cops if the driver on a chase, or if lucky don't have to raise to win or the NPC just put a bomb which is annoying that will be RNG which i do have a level of hatred for it. Can't go to fast or it will explode, can't get the vechile bump into anything or if you are in somewehre is bet off roading pray you can make it through, and even with the trick of the Import and Export is just not good. I have tried it 4 times and find the video how to do so but turns out someway or somehow the game won't do it for me. My final one is more a personal one. 3: i have done some glitch of the Doomsday Heist with ex friends, yes i was part of that but i learned not to do anymore glitching. I known 1 friend who could done much glitching and kept giving his other friend more money by glitching and he would just keep doing it for him and kept getting the same excuse "He doesn't have much money" but turns out he does because both of them kept doing it like 10x a day and one went into bad sport and kept listening to his friend that said "i don't have much money" when at least had 5 million dollars. Also helped him get the heist set up and it was very toxic. Called him out and try to work it out, found out they mostly have billions of dollars just doing the Doomsday Glitch over, over, and over again. Then when into the same lobby as the two ex friend, they had everything at the time before the other DLC's where out. This was when Doomsday Heist was around and was kinda hot at the time. Ever since then i don't do the Doomsday Heist because of that, if one my friends was wanting to do the Heist for the first time through i will do it but other then that i don't even touch the Doomsday Heist at all, i a void it like the peuge. Not even if you pay me 1 trillion dollars to replay it, after the toxic friendship and painful memories i would not replay it ever again unlease it is my friends doing it on their first time through. Those are my 3 times i have to disagree on as much the Cayo Heist, the nerf of the payouts is not worth it to me anymore but i think still best but i wouldn't put it as my number one and why i said switch the Contracts one out with Cayo heist around or at least have it at my number 3. Other then that i can say yes i have done other options but just i can't let the payout go through just fine. I just can't, This is my honest thoughts and would make some changes but the points in this video is still good and why i had to make some changes to the list.

The last dlc that they put effort is The contract dlc which have different variety of missions from the player to Franklin which is cool. After that 3 dlc that follows more of quality of life update and doesn't put effort to those dlc which is sad.

As a day one player 2013 was some of the most fun in gta online because every Deathmatch and race was always full and i played those endlessly without being burned out lmao i know not everyone would feel the same but i know for damn sure other people would play all day like me and completely ignore the contact missions 😂 also back then the buzzard was my go 2 vehicle and still is in 2024 some things never change

Man I was in High School when GTA 5 was announced, it was the only thing me and every other guy was talking about, then came online, and everyone liked it. But it was heist was announced I remember most, I was in the weight room, and all the guys and I where talking about how awesome the OG heists where going to be. Man I miss those days.

Tbh the list is good but the 2013 dlcs I personally wouldn't put in worst cos they were decent at the time

KDJ and Sessanta feels like a 14 year old wrote them, while also embodying the stereotype of black people who only talk in ebonics.

the acid lab is the best money investment period, nothing come close to it, maybe the Kotsaka, but the acid lab cost a total of 1 millions $ (750k to buy it, and then 250k for the upgrade) doing the first dose missions which pays around 15-20k each and there is 6 that's 120k plus you get 75k$ for completing each mission once and another 100k$ for completing them all in a row as a leader. You basically earned 670k$ and you do a holligan mission which pays 50$k top and you needed to do 10 anways so thats 500k$ so and then there are the 6 other mission that payed t he same amount with the same bonuses.. This DLC gives you for doing the mission : 240k$ for the 12 missions + 1.1 million in bonus + 500$k to do the minimum requirement of the upgrade. A total of 1.74 millions $ so you come up with a profit of 740k$ after purchasing the acid lab and upgrade! and then its makes 350k$ every 4 hour or so. (if you sell in full public lobbies you can make about 550$k just make sure to run ghost) that business alone is the best starter one Hands down, nothing come close, the setup takes a bit time and can be frustrating yes, but the rewards, you can easily become billionaire with this by doing nothing lol. YOU CAN EVEN CALL MUTT TO RESUPPLY YOU ON THE PHONE, LIKE YOU CAN REALLY JUST SIT AND ENJOY THE GAME WHILE THIS MAKES YOU MONEY. NO GRIND, NO BS. STRAIGHT MONEY. I know the cayo perico is the best money method with a payout of 1.3mil per hour, but you have to do stuff for that hour, you go to do mission etc, acid lab, is you call to ressuply, once its full, call it and sell, If people want to do a rags to riches the easiest way, is start the lost santos drug wars and from there you earned money to invest in a new bussiness and so on and so on.

Import/Export is awesome. Driving variety of different vehicles is quintessential GTA gameplay. I wish the payout for it would be increased though.
