G'day everyone! This is the first time I've really talked about board games in depth on this channel so I'm kinda nervous and very unaccustomed to all the board game KZfaq lingo lol!! Oh my gosh, Aimee. I’m so glad you’re venturing into board game content! I love board games and glad we have so much crossover in our tastes! The “presentation” format was a lot of fun to see and showed how passionate you are about the topic, which is always wonderful to see! I’ve been getting more into the cozier / nature-themed games this past year. It certainly helps that nature has taken off so much as a theme the past few years. Also, I love that you’re a BGStats fiend too! 🙂 Have you heard about Critter Kitchen, from the team that brought Flamecraft to life? It should be releasing this year and is one of my most anticipated titles coming out soon! And +1 to a top 100 😃 I just recently redid mine via the PubMeeple engine and enjoyed seeing the results. My top 10 are Atlantis Rising, Dwellings of Eldervale, Ark Nova, Paladins of the West Kingdom, The Castles of Burgundy, Five Tribes, Cthulhu: Death May Die, Age of Innovation, Clank! Catacombs, and Just One.

The four games in your top ten that I've played I really enjoyed. Atlantis Rising, Cthulhu Death May Die, Clank!, and Just One. Clank! In particular might be my favorite game I played last year, I would love to be able to play it and it's expansions in the future!

Great video Aimee, I sat through the entire 2 hours and really enjoyed learning about what board games you like. I was just thinking the other day in your Zelda stream, when is she going to do the board games tier list and behold here it is :) I love games like pictionary, the train game, ticket to ride, and games that have tactile pieces you can move around and touch. I also enjoy Clue, Game of Life and Monopoly(although I edit the rules to make it faster) I loved mouse trap as a kid and the bumble bee game. Have you play Ka Plunk? Really fun too, kinda like jenga but with marbles and straws. I would love to see more content like this, you could maybe even do a stream once a month or so where you can play with patreons or subs on board game arena, just an idea, not sure how workable that would be though

My family loved Clue back in the day! We played it so much when we got it that it only took a few months before we had to get a new pad of the note pads because we used them all. We even got a custom one that was much bigger so my Grandma could play. Have you ever played Call to adventure Aimee? It's a really fun game where you try to acquire cards by rolling tokens. Each of the cards describes an event or battle in your characters life. The cards you get make it easier to get later cards. There is a point system, but I just found it so much fun to go after certain cards to fit the story of my character

I know you were worried about it being almost two hours, it didn't feel like it! The time flew by So much beautiful art. I'd like to get into boardgames someday when I have friends that live within visiting distance again. The solo games are super intriguing

Thank you so much! I was born in Australia and I’ve lived mostly in the US east coast so it’s a mix 😄 My mom is from upstate New York so I’ll credit her with my American accent influences
