When I did the 1 on 1 fight with Joker I had coincidentally fused Rangda and put Bufula or bufudyne on I can't remember the specifics. So I was able to sweep all three fights with just that one Persona. Quite a happy coincidence!

2:10 omg same. When I was little My aunt went out of her way and bought Mario and Luigi: Dream Team not knowing if I was gonna like it. I didn’t like Mario at the time since I was growing out of it but she went for a Mario game. She thought I was still into Mario games. She didn’t know if I liked Mario or Luigi (Luigi’s mansion) so she told me that she told the dude at Walmart if there was a game with both of them and she ended up buying Mario and Luigi. When I got it on my birthday I thought it was a bit like ehh and that it was gonna be some boring 2D platformer but I was generous and I played it. Boy was I wrong. The gameplay was way different than what was expecting and I never knew of the RPG concept. Dream Team was my first ever RPG ever. This game opened my 3rd eye and I liked RPGs since then. The characters and world were new and I was unfamiliar with them and it made my experience memorable. Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam, the last one was disappointing and generic but the gameplay is fun. This brought me back to Mario games. This game is full on original and I’m happy.

For just dance all you need to do is make a Ubisoft account and to make a Ubisoft account you have to go on Ubisoft connect in the main menu from the just dance game you brought, and after you press that then you’ll have to login but if you don’t have a account then you have to create one and all you’ll need is your gmail and then you’ll be ready to go (it sounds like a lot but I suggest looking up a video or on google for a better explanation if I wasn’t too specific)

Sorry to hear about your stresses Aimee, hope things get better soon. As for the direct, I thought it was a pretty strong direct, especially one so close to the end of the switch's life cycle. Very RPG heavy although a few games caught my eye: Mario & Luigi YES!! I've always wanted to dive into them but the only handheld I owned was a game boy colour. I know superstar saga is now on switch online, I just haven't got around to checking it out yet. I do enjoy a good Mario RPG, I feel they are just the right length and not too heavy on the mechanics but just fun and engrosing enough to keep me hooked. 🪝 Mario Party looks HYPE! Although I do hope they offer pro controller support and not just joycon as I do find them fiddly with my dexterity and grip difficulties, I think it's the small size that does me in, but if they have or add in pro controller support I'm all in! 🥳🎉 Like you I'm not big on fighting games but I'm low key interested in checking out the Capcom Arcade Collection. Mostly because I love the X Men. You know, they should just majke a new X=Men game, in the style of the 90s animated cartoon lol. Ace Attorney Investigations, YES!!! Then we will have all if not most of the Ace Attorney Games on Switch. Happy for metroid fans although I'm not a huge fan, VR and first person experiences make me dizzy and unwell. I think it's due to my balance issues, but hey overall an 8/10 direct for me. I feel like it was inevitable that the Mario&Luigi series would return because unlike other dead franchises the IP could have lived on without AlphaDream in my opinion, but I did not expect the revival to be in the Switch era. My favorite announcement of the Direct^-^ The Legend of Link looks neat. It's nice to have a playable Zelda outside of Spinoffs. I also wonder if Zelda will talk more than Link :D Another Mario Party? Sounds like a great time. The naming convention for the series has become quite bad in my opinion but hey Square still exists^^' Also about Square: The DQ3 HD-2D Remake looks awesome. Octopath Traveler 2 recently got an update out of nowhere and now DQ1+2 also get the HD-2D treatment? HD-2D fans are certainly feasting :P THEY FINALLY TRANSLATED ACE ATTORNEY INVESTIGATIONS 2?!??! While I do wish for actual new AA content since 2017, I'm glad that a lot of fans can now easily catch up all these japan only AAs. It will be really weird for people like me that are used to the Investigations 2 fan translation names, because characters like "Eddie" will always be "Raymond" to me but oh well. Time to adapt and learn both^-^ Metroid Prime 4 exists! It's good to see that it's not completely lost in developement hell after the announced reset of the project. I wonder where the story will go and if there are plans for the series after the bridge between Metroid 1 and 2 :D

Oh this Direct was a really good one. Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D was a given for me but seeing how much it has improved since we first saw it got me even more excited. And then they revealed Dragon Quest 1+2 HD2D. I haven't played these games since middle school but the trip down memory lane is booked and now I just have to wait for November for my first stop. Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is huge. We never got the second game and now we will. Looks like I'll have to revise my AA rankings yet again after September. Didn't expect it to bee so soon after the Apollo collection 😅. And then they end with Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. I had been really excited for this when they teased back in 2017 and to finally see it brought a smile to my face. Really interested in seeing where this new entry takes the series. Edit: Almost forgot about Donkey Kong Country Returns. I loved this game back on the Wii so I'm glad it's getting a HD version. Tropical Freeze is great but IMO Returns is better.

before this Direct I knew I was interested in the Dragon Quest 3 remake and would probably pick it up at some point. seeing it here made me realize I want it so much! I'm also glad that they announced the remakes of the first 2 games as well. somehow that makes me even more excited for 3! I've been thinking about it all day!

Sojiro takes a long time to go from rank 3 to rank 4; not only do you need to beat Futaba's palace first, but it also requires a lot of bond. one early game method I used was making coffee. it boosts your bond a similar amount as if you hang out with him when he cant rank up and you get an SP restoring item too. also it can be done on nights he isn't available for hangingout. the total bonus is limited, but it is nice

the music at 42:44 btw. is called "Heavenly Flight", like a number of the tunes in the game, it's originally from older games, Dragon Quest 3 in particular, and is most heavily associated with Ramia, or, as she is known in 8, Empyrea, the Great Godbird. Too bad DQ 8 is basically unavailable nowadays. I still have the original PS2 version, but otherwise... Would've been neat to see it here. If I had to compare 8 and 11, i'd say 11 is the more epic "classic fantasy" adventure, while 8 (Journey of the Cursed King) is the grander journey.

Cliffhanger You can repeat the trial levels later (including boss). You’ll probably have to for more orichalcum, cumulonimbough, etc for forging. Don’t forget you can check how many treasures remain in an area. And you can check in the menu where to find items you’ve found before. A lot of the cities have new stuff. So you may wish to intersperse side quests between the trials. I can’t recall exactly the expected levels each time. I believe you can zoom to trial isle. I interpreted Serenica ‘dying’ & turning into the timekeeper as a result of her using the Sword on the time sphere while not being the Luminary as only the Luminary was supposed to.

A general rule of act 3 is go back and double check the various regions in the game. Especially if there were greatly impacted by Mordegon's rise to power after the end of act 1. Since you've gone back in time and stopped Mordegon before he could get started things will be different. Of course you've already made some progress with act 3 in the past so I'd recommended taking brief glances at your vods to narrow down which places you'd need to revisit still. Ah trial isle and Drustans's trials. This is more in line with past Dragon Quest post games. Find the post game area, find new gear and beat some bosses. Though unlike prior Dragon Quest post games this is meant to get you ready for Calasmos.

Glad to see a return of this series! … I guess I need to finish my own run. Morcant and Mordegon’s names were too close to be a coincidence. It’s cool this episode explains why Mordegon wanted to wield the sword of light - to destroy Erdwin’s lantern / Calasmos’ body, the (erroneously) last opposition to his power.

this is one of my least favorite Palaces in the game. Though there is one thing I really like about its design: This arc is very much a low/turning point for both Ryuji and Morgana making it easy to be frustrated with them. Two of the most common weaknesses of enemies in this palace are electric and wind attacks. So its almost like the game is saying "hey we know you might not like these characters as much right now, but here's a reason to give them another chance"

You handled it extremely well, jumping back into a game after a long break. I always find it so difficult I rather just start over from the beginning. 57:42 This entire part with Morcant the Seer blew my mind back when I played this myself.
