Given Negans rather incredible character development and more interesting back story, for many (myself included) he was one of the only reasons I continued watching the later seasons, it’s not easy for one character in a show with so many to do that, kind of indicates how good he really was, but that’s just my opinion.

Season 2 was just perfect, every GOOD character from season 1 was still alive, the search for Sophia, meeting Hershel and Maggie, Shane’s descent into madness, the barn scene, the ending with the huge horde and Rick having to kill Shane, then the reveal that they all have the virus. Just too good, the OG lineup, can’t beat em. If only Shane never went bad, Rick, Shane, and Darryl would’ve had everybody safe, Negan wouldn’t have stood a chance.

Season 7 and 8 are bad if you were watching it weekly as they aired. But they are so good if you binge it. Honestly, if they combined both seasons into one, changed the pacing, combined bottle episodes with other bottle episodes, it would’ve probably been the best season of the show. Good story, (except for Carl’s death) bad structure and pacing

I’m rewatching the series and I forgot how good Season 2 is because of Jon Bernthal amazing performance as Shane and how much he carried season 2 for me and made it so fucking good and one of my favourite seasons of the entite series. Love his character and I wish he and Rick could’ve made up and having them together as a team would’ve been an unstoppable force.

@@unknown_user4463 ok look, your are 100% correct on that, Rick had 2-3 Primes- #1. Rick Grimes Season 4 (Pre-Prime), #2. Rick Grimes Season 5 (Prime), and #3. Rick Grimes Season 8 (Prime). Also Rick beat the hell outta Negan in S8 with an Extreme Diff. And I think Season 5 Rick is Stronger wall Season 8 Rick is Physically Stronger.

My opinion I’m on season 10 midway S1: 9.5/10 S2: 11/10 S3: 8/10 S4: 6/10 was honestly mid imo S5: 9.5/10 S6: 9.5/10 S7: 5/10 I like negan but it was to slow paced S8: 7/10 good but not great S9: 9/10 10: so far is a 8/10 pretty solid
