*In terms of vocal technique, voice control:* *1.Rami* - there's not much to say, it's pretty clear, always stable, always ready to experiment, evey time i see her - she shows something different and does it good *2.Rora* - she knows her strengths very well and plays with her vocals very confidently *3.Ahyeon* - i want to put her on the second place, but sometimes her high notes sound like it's really hard for her to pull them off. And sometimes she's perfect. It's the matter of practice, she's gorgeous *4.Pharita* - great stable notes, but just as Ahyeon sometimes it's hard for her to reach certain sounds. But it's mostly because of the breathing and vocal position, cause 50% of the time she's perfect. Just a matter of practice, she'll have no flaws in a year *5.Chiquita* - how can i criticize her she's a baby😭she's so good for her age, she'll just keep improving, that's for sure. *6.Asa* - she's not bad at all, her high notes sound bright and stable. But since her element is mostly rap, i haven't seen much of her vocal abilities. Maybe in future 👁👁 *7.Ruka* - HEY SHE'S A RAPPER, MAIN DANCER, MAIN SLAYER, SHE INVENTED JAPAN, WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED HUH

In terms of vocal tiers, Chiquita is above Pharita. Chiquita is a little better than Ahyeon but I'd say that they are both low/mid Weak to Average (D-) while Pharita is mid weak (E+). Chiquita is the maknae in the group but doesn't underestimate her vocal power and she can improve her vocal chords same with other babymonster members. They have a lot of time to improve, even though they are just rookies, so keep an eye on them, they will be the real monsters in the kpop industry.

im a pro singer myself, i agree 90%. still think chiquita is above pharita. rita's voice has so much color, she is great, but i always gag when i see chiquita eating the songs, she gets pretty hard parts to sing (and shes just a baby lol, thats insane)

@SK-os4gq Rora has the best vocal technique in the group. Even tho Ahyeon hits higher notes, she strains a lot. Rora also has a better support. And Rora’s belting is really good too, check out her predebut covers for it. Ahyeon has good range and has a powerful/well projected voice but her belting isn’t the most balanced in the group and that’s why some people say that “she’s only screaming” cuz goes all out while belting without volume control. Pharita and Rora are better belters when it comes to that balance. And Rora’s vibrato is better controlled than Ahyeon too. Also, Ahyeon has a slight nasally technique while Rora doesn’t and vocal coaches most of the time would try to get rid of that nasally technique off of their students. Hope that helps! 🎀

Rami has so many times utilized much more complex techniques compared to Rora, we haven't heard anything more or at least as intricate from her, she has displayed great vocal technique but we're comparing her to Rami ain't we? 2. Rami has displayed a wider range, she has gone hi n lo, east n west, not sayin' Rora doesn't have a wide range but again you're askin' for a comparison 3. I noticed some slightly rough shifts when Rora did transitions, ALTHOUGH she managed to make save which we must acknowledge as a feat, which means despite her lack of intricate technique display she's still a very smart vocalist for being able to save herself so quickly from making mistakes in live performance and God knows how difficult is that, so quick applause to her, but Rami, miss girl has done smooth vocal crack again and again, also that climb she did in her final evaluation was chef's kiss

I actually dont think so... its just they all sound soooo good its just which voice color you prefer and sounds better to you... to a casual listener its about the feeling and sound... I really cant tell whose voice sounds (not technicaly but just a sound and tone) is the best... they all sound amazing... barely seen a kpop group with that many amazing vocalists

She deserves more lines for sure,Rora’s vocals aren’t powerful rather its so soft and heavenly, & Their official debut concept “SHEESH” was Gothic and spooky, and it had to be much powerful vocals, Thats why i think Rora didn’t get much as lines,same for Chiquita but Rora have the best support range thats why i think fans are triggered cuz its unfair, well YG need to do softer concept on their comeback so she can have many much lines suited to her😅

sorry no, I’m babymonster biased, but this is just incorrect. I do agree that Rora has better control and technique overall, but Rami has a higher range. Non-bias version: 1. Rami (D+/C-) 2. Rora (D/D+) 3. Ahyeon, Chiquita, Pharita //pharita is a better vocalist than chiquita tho\\ (D) 4. Asa (F+) Close to support, hasn’t shown all her singing skills. great potential! 5. Ruka (F) No support Rora? She’s not even inconsistent with C5 or C#5 in her support range, same goes for Ahyeon who doesn’t support Bb4 yet

I’m not hating but how do people put Chiquita over Pharita in vocals? Pharita has better projection, belting, range, agility, enunciation and stability. For those saying Rora is higher than Ahyeon, remember that they called Ahyeon their vocal leader for a reason. During their trainee era, there were times Ahyeon would teach her members better techniques or ways to hit the notes (eg. Scars to your beautiful practice). She has great technique

I am sorry that high note is screeching and irritating. Hitting high notes does not mean you are singing good, she is singing high notes with real voice just like pharita and singing high notes with real voice just does not feels good, mixed voice is the best technique to make your voice feels angelic not sounding like a siren lol.

Imo u can't compare rora and ahyeon both has very different opportunities where rora doesn't have as much chances to show her vocals aside from her intro and performance video, Imo YG dk how to manage her vocals she suits SM better, she has thicker sounds than the rest of them so her high not won't be sounds shrill at all. she's stuck cuz the other members is simply popular, if u actually understand vocal u'll def find her on SM level of vocalist

Just listen Ahyeon and Rora more . You can tell Rora is more relaxed and stable than her . And hit the highnotes ? Most of the time she strains it of course you should consider vocal type . Rora's voice doesn't suit much to their concept , style etc . The technique Rora uses more healthier than Ahyeon's . Yes Ahyeon gives advice a lot but don't you think it's because the song genre of bm ? If the entertainment give songs like someone you loved to be Rora can lead vocally . But most of songs they sing have dark , loud style with suit Rami and Ahyeon the most . In the other words why she leads group in vocal term is because she knows what to do and how in songs she suit . Also her leader charisma affects .

@@jahsmith331 nope. Those are right. Ahyeon is better than rora in terms of technique. Ahyeon also has a higher range which she can support more than rora. A main vocalist should be able to belt, use falsettos, harmonize, have good vocal control, and have a wide range. Ahyeon has all of these. For only has some support over her own range which is shorter than ahyeons. So if u take all of this into account, and not just your bias, this ranking is correct

@@kaiyaco4219 how can you say that ahyeon is better than rora? How can you say that rami, rora and ahyeon is already an average vocalist? When all of them are too shallow to be a C tier (Average singer). Ahyeon, rami, rora and chiquita are all weak to average tiers and pharita is a weak tier. Ahyeon can't even support C5 and B4 yet. In, 3rd octave rora sounds the best than ahyeon. Also, her 4th octave is decent compared to ahyeon. Rora can also maintain her tonality down to E3-F3.

1. Ahyeon can sing better than anyone in that group 2.Rora, her tone is so calm and the transition from chest to falsetto so smooth.. 3.Pharita/rami they're in the same level.. Even though their vocal skill and tone totally different.. Rami can Do the low notes but she's a little bit strained with high notes. Sometimes going flat.. Pharita, yes, she had a very thin voice,but I like she sang so effortlessly. Like high note isn't a big deal for her. She is just lack of agility like rami. 4. I'll put asa number 4. She can sing, and ger unique tone is something special for me. 5. Chiquita, she needs more learning in singing 6. She is the rapper. No need to say anything about her vocals.. But she hits the highest note on group. She can whistle like Diva

Tone wise,for me,it’s Chiquita,Rami,and Rora (these 3 are little nasal too but lot less than the other members). Others are too nasal for me,esp. Ahyeon and Pharita. Not saying nasal tone is bad,some people might dig that nasally tone,but it’s just not for me. Reminds me of that one character from F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Me rating bm members vocal with grades Ruka D ( i haven't heard her sing ) Asa A ( like what ?? Havent u heard her sing me myself and i ? , the fact she is the main rapper , her voice is still amasing . ) Pharita ( A++ , no words / she controles every melody she sings soo good ) Rora ( A+ just a angelical voice and amasing and i havend heard her sing high notes thats why ) Rami ( A++ , same as pharita , her voice is in a another level ) Qhiquita A ( her voise is soo good , she sings as an angel with her young voice but i think she needes more to learn ) Ahyeon A++ ( because she can hit high notes soo easily and strong and powerful , she even helped other members in vocal ) Babymonster is a vocal queen . All the members can sing soo good in every concept

@@blinkforever__ Vocal grade is not just abt the singing we hear. The vocals have to have techniques and breath control and other factors like that, vocal ranges r based on those factors even if the singers/idols sound good to us. Even the best vocalists in the industry like Rosè, Wendy, Lily aren't A+, they are only B/C. So, I think the ranking in the short is kinda accurate, only a bit lower

But if we are talking about TECHNICALITY, Pharita is definitely the weakest among the vocal line. Her voice is screechy but YG probably prefer her voice because she can sometimes sounds like Rosé, that’s why she looks like a main vocal. But girl, a big NO for a main vocal.

My bias is Ruka, but when it comes to vocal quality we have to admit in a real and sporting manner that Rami's vocals are the best among all the members. this is a fact 😊 and in my opinion, even though we have a Bias in BabyMonster. But we have to continue to support all the members, because without one of them BabyMonster wouldn't be as interesting as it is now. ❤

@@nonoi4272 rora has the great stability to maintain her tonality, she is the one that sounds the best in the 3rd octave and she can maintain her tonality down to E3-F3 and her 4th octave is decent. She can carry support constantly up to Bb4 and her quality is better than chiquita. I'd put her in the high part of mid W-A just because sometimes she sounds like mid/high.
