There was an interesting episode in The Animated Series where the villian is a "child actress" with a growth disease that causes her to look 8 years old forever. She is actually a grown adult, but Batman genuinely tries to sympathize with her instead of what he would usually do to the villian. IDK of it counts since she is technically a grown woman, but there was a heartbreaking scene at the end where she just starts sobbing and tells him, "I'm sorry," similar to how a child would act when they feel guilty.

Fr this video made me realize that MAJORITY of the batman adaptations were actually good and only a few were bad

Personally I didn’t like it I well say it was a great movie but it didn’t show Bruce Wayne enough (understandable he isn’t needed in this movie only Batman) but the point of Bruce Wayne is to make a alibi for himself which Pattinson didn’t do I love Batman movies where you barely see Bruce but they made Pattinson to dark I find where Christians was perfect he hid his overwhelming pain whenever he put on the mask of Bruce Wayne which is what batman does

Probably the biggest movie I saw him in between Twilight and Batman was Tenet, which I liked him in, and then I also watched The Lighthouse and The Devil All the Time where I thought he was fantastic

Personally, I think Pattinson was good as Batman, but sucked as Bruce. Troy Baker's Batman on the other hand, had the perfectly balanced personality as both Bruce and Batman (which again, is the central theme of both the games). Also, on a personal note, I was quite disappointed in the movie's take on corrupted Thomas Wayne. Bruce asks Alfred if his father was corrupt, and Alfred denies, and it just ends at that. The game's take is much more humanitarian and multi-layered than that (Thomas indeed was corrupt, Alfred and Martha wanted him to quit the criminal path. It's not clear if he agreed to them, but if Bruce persuades Penguin, he says that Thomas wanted to quit, and Mayor Hill sent Joe chill to tie up the loose end). Overall, I liked Robert as Batman (except the ending part), but not as Bruce Wayne. And having played both the games, the movie was a lot of wasted potential on the storyline.
