My favourite always been Warrior Within, that game blowed my mind at the time. Im excited for Lost Crown, i like metroidvanias and it seems like a pretty expansive one, and its made by the team that made Rayman Origins and Legends, so that's a good sign.

I agree almost point for point. My only gripe is that I’d swap WW and POP08. Warrior Within improved the minutia of combat, but injected battle into every spare minute of the game that it could manage. You were CONSTANTLY having platforming sections interrupted with little fights here and there, which was just the wrong call. SOT had worse combat mechanics, but it had the decency to keep the fighting contained to its own little sections. In addition, WW is the jankiest of that trilogy, with physics and graphical bugs regularly, the entire presentation was so nu-metal cringe, and the quasi-open-world made exploration a chore rather than a spectacle. POP08 just had a far more interesting aesthetic, story, characters, scenarios, environments and overall design. Combat wasn’t better mechanically, but its placement in the overall game was superior. Just a better experience overall, there absolutely should have been a sequel rather than Forgotten Sands.

I personally have a soft spot for Warrior Within. The game design just hit the spot for me, I loved the new time mechanics, it looks fantastic, I enjoy having a prince that is completely soured to reality and over his predicament where an immortal monster is constantly stalking him and trying to kill him and most importantly, I love the Dahaka. That guy scared the shit out of me as a teenager and still gives me the chills on replays and his boss fight is challenging as hell. Truly a worthy game-long opponent, unlike the Vizir in Sands of Time.

Personally only played Sands of Time but I definitely remember being scared shitless of the skeletons in the first level haha

You are right about pop 2008. People said that the game would have been better without the orb collecting so I listened and download a mod to stop the orb collecting. One of the best 5 hours spent! Nothing felt that it overstayed it's welcome and that ending man!!!

POP! I really liked the 2008 reboot and Sands of Time but those were the only ones I’ve played. I’ve got next week off from work and my plan is to get the deluxe version of Lost Crown to enjoy all week long 🤩 (it looks amazing, like Metroid Dread)

I had 2 thrones on wii it was called rival swords on wii, was my favourite and loved the dark prince, Also I loved the horror and eerie atmosphere of warrior within.

OMG Cinematic platformers! Props for using the correct term.. I’m just coming off Forgotten Sands on ps3.. I was a little torn on continuing with Two Thrones ps2 vs PSP but ultimately decided on the former due to the better camera.. But I’m taking a bit of a break from it.. Sands is still the best I’ve played although the others def had moments of greatness.. I really think Ubi should consider remaking PoP 2 & Arabian Nights this way they can be really good!! After all they remade the original..

The combat in Sands of Time is so boring it actually made me stop playing. Warrior Within so far is my favorite but I hope the remake of Sands takes that place.

I sincerely think that FS is underrated, the combat sucks but the movement and platforming is so smooth, I love the "freeze water power". Another underrated game is WW, the combat is great, exploration, ambiance, etc. The dark tone fits really well to it. The only complain is that isn't obvious what to do to reach the true ending. POP 08 is boring AF. I think that ST is overrated, it's the worst in the trilogy: worst combat, worst graphics, worst platforming (it's the easiest to miss jumps), it's the easiest in the trilogy. Yeah, they nailed the ambiance, but nothing more. 3d is just awful, I played in early 2000, it was already a pile of trash. I loved the first two games, I was really disappointed with it. Pop TT was amazing, but I still prefer the darker WW. IMO: 1- WW 2- TT 3- FS 4- ST 5- 08 6- 3D

Here is what we need, next pop game should take off after two thrones, The original prince is older and Farah aswell, Babylon & Persia was devastated by the events in Two thrones, hostile Kingdoms pounce while Persia is still weaker, you play as Farahs and old Princes Son to defend Persia, with beutiful modern graphics mixture of old fashioned brutal combat system mix between WW and TT.

I'm hoping next year we get to play the Sands of Time Remake next. I'm also hoping that Ubisoft remakes the Sands of Time saga. The next games I hope follows after the Sands of Time Remake is Forgotten Sands Remake and Wii version remade for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The Warrior Within should follow after those two titles and after the Two Thrones Remake to finish the Remake Series before releasing the new game.

Yup, I prefer the level design of Two Thrones as well, it's the best, and I prefer the story of TT to WW, but I prefer the darker tone and soundtrack of WW better. Also PoP3D's main problem is the input delay, which makes the game unresponsibe, but the level design for most levels is pretty good and the combat is enjoyable and was ahead of its time design wise.

My favourite was also Sands of Time. I played it both in Gamecube and PS2, and the Gamecube version was way better! People say PS2 was better overall than Gamecube, Im not really sure, perhaps it was just hype

Yea even my favourite is warrior within. The thing is i can't play any other prince of persia after warrior within. Even the two thrones lokked me boring. I hardly played forgotten sands because it had some vibe something similar to warrior within. I think there shoud be another visit should be there to that island of time,such a horror pop series. Seriously its not for beginners. Only experts can play.

In my mind Warrior Within has always been my favorite; amazing music, cool visuals, fun gameplay and weird story... but I actually never finished it, years later I found out my game bugged out and a certain story event never triggered. In truth, my actual favorite would be either the Two Thrones or the 2008 reboot. I replayed both countless times and I enjoyed them every single time, thinking about it, I should probably replay them again hahaha.

Two thrones is worse than even the 2008 game. Big step down from Warrior Within and not just because of the worse soundtrack, combos and lack of blood. The story was forgettable and Babylon was not as pretty as in Sands of Time.

Warrior Within is overrated and easily the most irritating game in the series. Boring level retreading, overly edgy mid 2000's vibe, annoying and broken boss design, best ending locked behind all health upgrades. And it's worst sin is terrible checkpointing and time wasting, with it's most egregious examples being when you haven't saved in ages and die trying to get a health upgrade. Forgotten Sands is a straight up better game which makes this list hilarious. Two thrones is the best game in my opinion. The least annoying of the sands trilogy. About sands of time i really dont like his costume,such a over looking like old british uniform.and don't like his hairstyle .neither the palace environment. It all looks simple and regular. Had no essence.
