Thriller bark had the funniest scene, when a zombie comes out and LUFFY GOES "NOPE" AND PUSHES IT BACK INTO THE GROUND! I loved that.

Thriller Bark is really underappreciated, it's one of THE funniest arcs in any anime. And of course the Zoro scene at the end is an absolute classic.

with ace being one of my favorite characters in one piece, hearing your guys' opinions about him and forgetting about him during his big arcs was painful. for crying during one piece, i'm usually not someone that cries while watching something, but i love one piece so much because there has been multiple moments that were able to make me cry: ace's death is the big one, and luffy grieving for him then remembering he still has his nakama, going merry's death, first time seeing red hawk i think, robin's i want to live, sanji bringing luffy the bento after overhearing pudding's monologue to reiju, even watching fight together the first few times made me cry. it's also one of the VERY few shows that make me cry from laughing too much, i've given myself stomach cramps from watching one piece. XD

Thriller Bark will always hold a special place in my heart because it's where the manga was when I started reading it weekly back in 07. It's not my favourite arc, but it was when I was first on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter. Plus Perona is best girl.

I think that the Alabastra arc is under appreciated by a lot of people. There were all those things you talked about (mr prince, smoker, crocodile), there was the introduction of Ace (wich was hilarious), there was all the Vivi story that was amazing, the fights were great... It is one of the best arcs in my opinion.
