The placement limit for the elf camp is pretty fair, and you’ll know why when 4 ppl place all their camps and max them out, just watch those cannon elves piling up and doing insane damage is op

Something to point out is that the Sledger can inconsistently hit hiddens and shadow bosses if another enemy is within the range of the sledger. For example, if there is a hidden along with a normal enemy that is in the sledgers range, the sledger will hit both the hidden and the normal. The same works for shadow bosses. Just make sure something else is near it and in the sledgers range, and it will hit it.

Fun fact: Frost blaster is not THAT useless. It has a passive that is unlockable at level 3, which is defense melting. This is STACKABLE with pyros and electroshockers defense melting, which can result in 90% less defense on an enemy!

While elf camp still can hit flying eneimies with splash damage, no unit can actually detect it despite the gift bomber looking like it could early detect and or ram into flying enemies which is ironic as hell

The commando is actually forgotten by the devs who made the commando which is really sad I wish he was buffed a lot because he’s the 2nd event tower in tds.

Toxic gunner is supposed to slow down by 50%, because one of the balancers said it was 50% last update, but its still bugged and slows around by 15%, hopefully when they finish balancing the evergreen towers they will fix this tower cause rn its pretty bad and everyone who bought toxic gunner probably regrets their decisions

Swarmer got broken in the Lunar Overture update. He now keeps attacking the first enemy and doesn't stack the bee effect and makes him practically useless. The grenade also doesn't seem to add another bee swarm effect. This could be bypassed by setting it to random but the bee stack things is just gone and makes him useless. Also Frost Blaster was way better in 2019, but he got drastically nerfed. He had a passive ability on level 3 called Frost Mark. I can't exactly remember what it did but i think it slowed zombies down by a bit. On level 5 he had a firerate of 1 instead of 1.5 on level 0 he had 2 instead of 3 and on level 3 his firerate decreased from 2 to 1.5 instead of 3 to 1.5. He also dealt 58 damage at max if i remember so basically he had around 58 dps which was huge. The freezing effect was slightly shorter tho. I know it's the same case with other towers like Commando and Slasher, but I don't have those towers so I can't speak for them. I wish they'd just make an update buffing event towers :(

The Gladiator was terrible when first released, then the devs buffed it and made it a gamepass. The Commando was good when released, then devs needed it. The Slasher (Shreadder for them OGs) was good when released, then the devs nerfed it.

The sledger can hit hiddens sometimes, when a hidden is in a crowd of non-hiddens then sometimes it will accidently freeze and hit a hidden.

I remember how hard the 2020 easter event was everyone spent hours trying to beat it to get the swarmer which was worse than the freezer at the time.

When you talked about executioner, you mentioned that the potential dps was 600+ however you didnt mention that the more enemies the axe hits the longer it takes to return to the executioner, meaning that its attack speed will usually be far longer than 2 seconds. If you account for this then its potential dps is way less than 600, and probably closer to 250. Although I still agree with its position as a low A tier.

Imo a good commando rework idea(that i actually stole from a random guy on SinisterPumpkin's video) is to give him Robo monkey style targetting and make it so each gun deals like 60 dps, he will pretty much become a slightly better g mini. Also my advice for Sledger is to not put more than 3 on the same spot, because at the final wave(and in a case of boomer or wardem) if all sledger are at the entrance the stun would just render them useless as enemies would just walk past while they are stunned. You can also scramble their targetting to make best use of its stalling(i usually prefer setting them to last, strongest, and first). this applies to every other tower that is stalling enemies

Honestly the only way they’re buffing things like Commando Frost blaster and Slasher is if they give them game passes. As someone who owns some event towers, I don’t care if they’re sold, but I know some people die at the mention of older event (tower) gamepasses.

I know I’m very late but there is an important information with swammer glitch You can make them ttarget the same enemies by changing there range with dj by selling and replacing it It works very well on maps where you can stack them up and the don’t have enough range to reach the path and it’s by far the easiest method of exploiting this glitch

the toxic gunner's poison stacks. with it having no placement limit you can shred everything as long as you have something for the hiddens

Still in pain that I missed out on the Sledger. Also, the thing with the Commando that REALLY hurts him, the Commando's rockets are very likely to almost completely miss if set to first and do hardly, if any, AOE.

i think archer should be a tier at least because it does have really good early game but it depends on the map like you said but you didnt use it on better maps like forest camp that really use the piercing well and because it is cheap you can farm really well for molten mode (i haven't tried it yet for fallen)

did you account for the time it takes for the executioners axe to actually hit the enemies or just the time it takes for the executioner to throw the axe?

Sledges might not be able to see hidddens but the freeze can spread onto them still stunning them

Since their reworking old event towers to keep up with the changes to the game I think that commando, slasher, archer and swarmer will hopefully get changed. They just changed frost blaster and toxic gunner (2 of the worst towers at that time) so I have hope.

I love how a bow and arrow pierces zombies but they have less velocity and force compared to a bullet (I’m referring to archer)

i started tds around the time it came out, and i must say to me, the gladiator event was one of the hardest yet even the tower at the time sucked, and now it’s pretty good. n it’s sad to see commando be forgotten because i remember when you could solo the hardest game mode with just them at the time (too op) so it got nerfed, ever since then it’s been awful and almost never used

To put it simple..change the target of the first enemy of executioner to last enemy while place it at a straight path so it can deal serious damage.

When i was trying to get the warden we got carried by 2 max elf camps we dominated the boss because the elfs have no limit meaning that u can get infinite elfs and yeah the elf camp is an GOLDEN S TIER in my opinion it is really strong if theres a game pass GET IT NOW!

i got the archer during the event it was released, its best form was its og form

Elf camp should be a mid s tier 2 of them has a reason if the gunners stay at the same place it makes a huge army and it’s really hard to die and it’s really good for late game because tanky enemies will come out and the gunners will camp and more will come out and it’s pretty much impossible to die with help because 6 tanks can get through if it’s crossroads because the map revamp been shorter it would been a S high because that will camp corners everywhere and it will be long and take a while to get to the entrance

I wish the event towers weren't constantly rereleased. At least, the ones who got the towers from the event should get a specific skin - the novelty is completely ruined otherwise

yea soloed fallen with accel and elf camp, in addition with the accel buff. Accel might have carried a tiny bit (dude 370 dps aint enough for fallen, regardless of the insane price) but elf camp completely obliterated early game, only needing accel for the hiddens and fallens. the elf camp can also be a substitute for mortar as when i was playing it, the ripped elves were shredding the breakers with their 140 damage per snowball. If you aren't using elf camp if you have it, you are legit missing out the most interesting and epic tower yet

Tbh, im happy commando remains as it is. As soon as it becomes slightly viable they'll start reselling it for money.

the dps of executioner is not accurate though. I think you might forgot to include the fact that if executioner attacks more enemies, firerate is going to be so much longer, so dps is definitely going to be significantly lower than what you've calculated. Btw I think electroshocker is somehow better than sledger, it can hit 8 enemies at max, while sledger can only hit 4, and it can slow down major boss by a bit too(up to 25% according to wiki), and has significantly larger range, electroshocker outperformed sledger in almost every way.

if we were counting exe when it had that one bug it would undoubtedly be the best event tower and best towers in game overall

Okay now talk about the Pre-Nerf variants of some of the first ones. Pre-nerf Commando SHREDDER(What slasher used to be and what should've been) Pre-nerf commando was one of those things that took the early popularity by storm.

I remember duoing with friends using only one event tower for attacking but supporting it, this was back in golden, frost blaster beat it, same with shr- SLASHER, I hate slasher, return my shredder

Man i missed pre-bug fix swarmer it used to be the best spamable tower

you know whats sad about this? most of the event towers before late 2020 (was when i played more often) were actually really good and gladiator was pretty bad when it came out. it was even possible to only use frost blaster to beat fallen with 4 people. now, pretty much all of these towers are available with robux. but they were event towers so that means more towers that below can charge robux for hooray!!!! also swarmer is pretty much the only event tower thats from 2020 thats still pretty good and hasnt been sold for robux (im pretty sure)

We need a commando rework. If you remember old commando it was meta now it’s almost useless due to the very bad costs

i'd say frost blaster is the rarest event tower to see (apart from maybe commando)
