An Orange Diablo GT is probably the only car I don't fit in that I still really want to own.

NFSHP2 taught me the 6.0 was the best. I WILL own one before I die, even if I have to mortgage my house 11 times. Unbelievable car.

I remember being 10 years old and seeing an orange metallic Diablo SV in downtown Chicago near Michigan Ave. in the summer… Sun sparkling over the paint as my friends and I sat in awe, frantically rolling the windows down in the back seats of my dad’s Suburban as it drove past in the nearest oncoming lane. I’m 34 now, and while not the biggest lambo fan, “Countach”, do I remember those 10 seconds over two decades ago and what they did for my love of cars since.

This summer I got to see a supposedly one of just six Diablo SV Roadster in a stunning yellow sat in a beautiful collection! It was even the first one produced - it made me fall just that much more in love with the Diablo

I remember working down near the football stadium in Mass. One of the NFL players had a silver diablo roadster that I saw at a restaurant with the top off. I will never forget seeing that car in person. To this day it is one of the coolest cars I have ever walked around and looked at.

When I was a deckhand on a yacht, our boss had a Diablo GT. He absolutely hated that car. He had a Countach, an F40, a DB5 and a McLaren MP4-12C...he drove a Hyundai Genesis instead. It was his favorite car. Special events he pulled out the special cars, but besides his BMW M6, he drove that Genesis everywhere and spent so much money on upgrades.

The Diablo GT is my favorite. Ideally, I would take a 2001 Diablo and convert it to look identical to a GT, and it would definitely be painted yellow.

Always love a green or purple Diablo! The funny thing is that as I age, I want cars that are easy to drive. Younger me wanted to fight with the car to feel alive.

I drive an '02 Saleen with a full Griggs GR-40 / SLA suspension and totally get that "just been to the gym" feeling he is describing. Exceptionally fantastic in the corners, but that suspension requires ALL of my attention to drive.

I was 10, walking on a sidewalk, approaching the ticket booth to a movie theater to see "The Ghost and the Darkness". Approaching head on, a red Diablo, slowly pulling up to the front of the theater. It had limo tint. This is the first time I saw a Lamborghini and it became my favorite car. Has been ever since. Remember playing it on Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit? Good ol' days. Back when need for speed hot pursuit 2010 came out, I still think of the one mission that starts off with “In pursuit of a Yellow Lamborghini” and it’s that Yellow Diablo SV and it it was actually a tougher interception mission. Still a fan, of the car to this day. So much so, I have a poster of a silver Diablo on my way.

The Diablo is one of the 5 best bedroom poster supercars of all time. That thing is magic. They are all incredible but I am partial to the VT coupe. Pre and post facelift.

It's funny...this confirms my own personal feelings about the SE30 when I saw it in Dupont Registry as a kid that I never was able to share with others. Only because no one I knew had the same interest in cars as I did. That off metallic light purple it had was gorgeous. I didn't know that it had all those special features that he mentions. I wish I had the internet when I was a kid.

I swear John Temerian has the exact same taste in cars that I have and if I ever won the powerball I'd probably buy most of his inventory since they're all my favorite cars. He even had the fuchsia Calloway Sledgehammer Speedster and Vector cars I loved so much but most people never heard of. Definitely a passionate guy that really knows his stuff especially with lamborghini

Odd, I have loved Diablos since I was in high school when they came out. I never knew how many variations there were until this. I knew of the GT/SV/VT but not that the SE was called an SE, lol. Great video a always!

My all time favorite is also the SE30 that would the thebone I'd own and drive a few times a year. But a titanium diablo roadster SV that I'd drive the hell out of as often as possible

My old 96 VT was really reliable for the three years I owned it and I drove it every day. Now I miss it every day. Bonsai blue with grey interior. My favourite is the 6.0 then the SE30. Roadster would be last for me as I have just never bought the look. The cheapest Diablo I saw was £37k or so about 2009 maybe, white with tricolour stripes within the leather interior

Visually I’d rank the GT or the open light roadsters as peak. I saw a roadster with the SV package I don’t know if they were sold like that but it looked pretty badass. With closed lights they look too sedate like a Espirit or a Japanese car. If they put a pop up above the normal light like the countach it would be perfect.

A purple sv or se30 has been my dream since i was 5. I used to have the toy models and would always play with them! That started my love for cars😂

I remember back in the mid 90s maybe 95 or 96? either road and track or car and driver did an article about a Diablo VTTT (they called it Viscous Traction Twin Turbo). I can't find much about them, were they a custom model based on a VT or was it a limited production run?

Roadsters are nice except for Tyler's with that horrible Creamsicle interior. I have never been able to pick between Ferrari and Lamborghini because they've both made so many gorgeous cars. I always love when John is on the channel.

Well hats off for doing a superb sell…But that’s his job, and 👍for his passion… But Why on earth would Pagàni ask, let alone deserve to have his name on the car where he tweaked a face lift for an existing Car? Just trying to spin a tale to boost the story on the SE 30 which is in no way an F40..or a 959…or an XJ 220…. This really is a design change from Gandini……😂 On the outside, the SE30 differed from other Diablo models with a revised front fascia featuring straked brake cooling ducts and a deeper spoiler, while the rear cooling ducts were changed to a vertical body-colored design. The raging bull emblem was moved from the front of the luggage lid to the nose panel of the car between the front indicators. The engine lid had slats covering the narrow rear window, while a larger spoiler was installed as standard equipment. The single rear fog lamp and rear backup lamp, which had been on either side of the rear grille, were moved into the bumper… Wow 👏👏👏

I love this 90s Lamborghini models so much. They have all minor differences at the exterior and interior. I prefer 5.700 cc old real Lamborghini engine matched with pop-up headlight. Abs + power steering is plus. First generation dash is a little high, clutch is tough and difficult to maintenance. Also first model have short wing. I prefer gen 2 wing a little longer and not low located. My choose list as; 1-VT Roadster model has beautiful vertical skirt vents. Other model has horizental black trims. I don't like them so much. 2-Rear engine cover should have shark striped vents as VT version. They make the car so unique and perfect. Unluckly roadster VT has no these shark vents. SV has scoop it makes the car more powerfull but a little ugly. 3-SE version has straight 4 line at the rear engine cover. It makes the car modern. But again not my style. 4-Also in diablo models at the rear there are a lot of varieties. White reverse lamp location up or down. Between stoplights SV has extra cover. Mostle body color or black. VT roadsters has full black grill. At the rear SV looks more agressive I think. 5-There are 2 different exhaust system on these var. 2+2 exhaust looks better than 2 of at the middle. If you want to buy one of them you should check rust, electrical issue and general mechanical condition. :)

For me personally, I would like to buy a 6.0 in about 2-3 years to add to the Ferrari, but if for some reason it is too expensive by then and my income has not increased, then I want a 1991 model. I like the two extremes and wouldn't be able to complain with either.

I like that this dude is calling 30-40-50k miles high mileage and I'm just over here with my 284k mile Audi S2 that makes more power than any Diablo. 6.0 would be my pick. One of the most iconic looking cars ever.

Liked the list but it's a bit off to say 'they don't have as bad a reputation as people think'- reputation is only and exactly what people think 😅 if people think has a bad reputation, *that's* the reputation ;) I would still love me a 94 VT in some shimmering silver hue. Or Roadster, but definitely not a FWD.

If I win the lottery could you make this for me? Diablo SE30, Purple, updated GT/6.0 dashboard, electric steering, modernized Olin strut system, front lift system, shave an inch off bottom of the front splitter, updated LED front and rear lights. Then I would buy a Bugatti EB110 SuperSport. Pay Bugatti $5 MIL and give it back to gut it and make it Pearl White with Bugatti Blue leather interior, electric car with 600 miles of range and a new modern dash, new interior, better seats, electric steering. Call it an EB110E for electric.
