I wonder if Nightbird will suddenly explode in popularity because of Rise of the Beasts and become more prominent in Transformers media, like how Bayformers brought so many other G1 fan favourites like Bumblebee, Jazz and Ratchet back into the fold…

I find it fascinating that a "character" who was literally designed to be a ninja didn't transform, despite disguise being a very big part of their methodology. It's not just sneaking on roofs in as close to a bodysuit as pre-industrial farmers could make, but using varieties of clothes, props, and makeup to blend in. To have the enemy welcome you into their court. I think the backpack could work if it was more compact and had functionality. Like say, if she changed into a "stealth" helicopter, have it unfold into a staff, swords, and nunchaku for different configs. And in flight mode, it's her rotor blades. Or maybe a ski rack on a car.

Based on G1 cartoon, it’s a man-made robot; so, it makes sense it can’t transform. I understand your logic that as a ninja, she should be her primary function. So, if they redo the episode, I don’t mind she gets an upgrade with a transforming feature and a toy. Like Springer, helicopter would be a logical choice with the blades as katanas and cannons for nunchakus. But bike might work too.

One thing I notice with Nightbird’s rise of the beasts design is that her helmet is shaped like a bird’s head and beak (the top part is like a bird beak opened up to reveal Nightbird’s face)

I'd LOVE to see a Elita-1 Tier List next. I feel like she's the only major character left that still deserves one. DEW IT! Edit: Oh yeah and i guess Windblade too. But i still think Elita needs the love. If not firstly.

I feel that the ROTB in-movie design easily has already become my favorite. Other designs I like are G1, Legends, Masterpiece, Earth Wars, Cyberverse, Angry Birds (you even admitted before lowering the score it's the best attempt from that series), mattthewart, and shan4art.

It's a shame she wasn't in AOE. She'd be _perfect_ for that. If the whole thing was "manmade transformers," Nightbird should've been the first thing coming to mind when they made that movie. idk what Bay was smokin when he said 'imma make Galvatron a soulless robot now," i mean, in a way, it makes sense as a way to bring-back Megs, but galvy was never a manmade bot.

It’s a shame they were largely adverse to doing so at the time. The Nightbird name and aesthetic could have been easily adopted in the Beast Era. Especially considering Airazor’s original figures received next to no recolours or retools.

ROTB Nightbird is the best design for me, with the original G1 version right next to her (cause of her sweet thighs of course). I like her sleek, samurai like design which honors the original while still being her own thing.

Gonne be honest here, the Angry Birds designs aren't really all that bad; at least the Bodies anyway, the only thing bringing down those designs are the bird/pigs slapped on top. Examples of the best designs include Galvatron, Soundwave and Optimus Prime

I always loved the concept of Nightbird since G1. Being a transformer with a kunoichi theme is shockingly something the franchise hasn't really tackled much. It's just that she hasn't really been much of character, literally being a puppet in G1 and most of her other appearances have been rather small tertiary appearances. Hopefully ROTB makes her at least on par with the likes of Blackout or Barricade.

Her designs of every Franchises all remind me of the Battle Armor-style Girls Family Forces' and Custom Trooper Armor-style Girls, and the Clicker-Ace Force's weapons are all armed along with Battlina's weapons. 😼😼😼😏😏😏

I thought was Nightbird was a new transformers for the Rise of The Beast movie but I guess not. I thought the same thing for two Decepticons for the Bumblebee movie were new to the franchise and the movie was their introduction to the franchise.

i wanna see nightbird as a combination of her g1 and cyberverse versions in a future transformers series she was at 1st a decepticon but soon joined the autobots (she'll be the female counterpart of drift), i hope she transforms into a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse in a future transformers series, also see nightbird looking like her rotb version in a future transformers series (she'll be a mercenary), i hope he transforms into a Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 in a future transformers series, and i hope Michaela Jaé Rodriguez voices her in a future transformers series

To this day, Hasbro didn't reuse Earthrise Arcee mold for a new "G1" Nightbird redeco. The one thing Earthrise Arcee model could've been the most useful for, they just didn't do it 🗿🤦‍♂️ Just imagine, a detachable car kibble that can serve as a skateboard and a decoy shell, preserving the G1-accurate "no backpack" look of the Nightbird while also adding an excuse for the heavy shellformer engineering. A perfection that could've exist 🗿🤦‍♂️
