Scorponok is a very interesting case, he’s either a robot scorpion or a character at times. But I like when he has a personality.

18:19 there's the thing Scorponok does actually turn into one of Blackout's engines. But knowing that makes you wonder how is Blackout even meant to use his vehicle form as it would be useless to him because he's missing an engine.

To be fair I don't know how the Sea stallion works as I know more about cars than aircraft I mean one of the engines could be to power the main rotor and the other engine to operate the tail rotor I don't know, what I do know is if a vehicle is meant to have 2 engines it can't function with one missing. There's an old modified Audi TT I know of for example it's all wheel drive but it has 2 engines which the TT only has one engine in the front powering all 4 wheels, however in this one I'm talking about the 400 horsepower engine drives the front wheels and the back wheels are powered by another 400 horsepower engine in the back, and I don't think it can function with the 2nd engine missing.

That’s the thing, he doesn’t. Thats why Blackout was so late to the final battle. He had to wait to regroup with Scorponok before he could transform

The live action Michael Bay version of him is what introduced me to the character, but I was first introduced to transformers in the Beast Wars Trilogy back when it was still on TV which was when I was 4 years old.

My favorite Scorponok is his Beast Wars incarnation! He was so funny and kinda adorable. Too bad he was done so dirty in the very first episode of season 2 of Beast Wars.

I love Energon Scorponok and really wish he appeared in Cybertron as Dark Scorponok-and that a 3rd party company like FansHobby could make an MP version of the design (complete with the leg guns from the show CGI model-and a Dark Scorponok redeco/retool). Though I do also think that the design should have been one size class (or perhaps even two size classes) larger (think Leader or even Supreme rather than Ultra) to better match the intent of the design.

My favorite design for the live action movies would have to be his ROTB rendition, but my overall favorite has to be the G1/Earthrise Scorponok design

While he may just be an evil robo scorpion, '07 Scorpy is a very effectively communicated alien evil robo scorpion. Agreed on him needing an alt mode, but his scorpion mode is quite nice.

My favorite Scorponok incarnations are the ones from the first two Michael Bay films (the version that introduced me to Scorponok as a character, complete with a badass theme in the first film) and _Rise of the Beasts_ (I recently got the Studio Series figure of _Rise of the Beasts_ Scorponok from my local Walmart).

You know when I was a kid? I love scorpions like they're one of my favorites. When I was a kid, I would go to camping place and in the rocks had like dozens of scorpions and I would Catch them and and release them when we're done with them. They were a lot in Hawaii. Well, I came from and every time I see a transformer scorpion. I always love it

Actually, movie Scorponok DID turn into parts of Blackout's helicopter mode! The "caution" labels are from the helicopter parts.

my favorite scorponok designs are the g1 cartoon, beast wars cartoon, tf1 design, the rotf stalker design, the rotb design, the beast weaponizers toy, and the studio series toy

Honestly, energon scorpanok is one if my holy grails since its one of the only transformers i had when i was really young. Looking back, it wasnt that great if a design, but i still want that toy.

One of the things I really like about Scorponok is that he exists (and can work) in basically every size class (G1 Titan, Beast Wars standard, and the movie's minicon)

god i should finally draw the design i've been thinking up for him. basically rotf demolishor's giant excavator mode but it turns into a giant scorpion. it's a transtector for Zarak, and Scorponok is the name for an army of drones he has that turn from robot scorpions into backhoe diggers.

G1 Scorponok for me. I loved the original toy. Good Christmas that one. He was just a superb character in the comics. Had to get the Titan. What a figure! Gotta say, I DO like the RiD version. What a fantastic redesign. Never got the figure, though I do like the Takara Tomy deco.

My Best Scorponok Design is from TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE and TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS. I like Scorponok as Large Mechanical Scorpion (24:24) to transform a Monstrous Robot with Scorpion Tail (25:30).

Maybe I'll be unoriginal, but For the next video of this series will be interesting see Dinobot, Blackaracnia or Waspinator I think these 3 was the most iconic and memorable in Beast Wars series, amd even thei others incarnation in others tv show, comics etc are cool (some more, some less)

2007's Blackout does become part of blackout though, he's supposed to be an engine or part of the engine, but I can see why hasbro did not chose to give him that alt mode. It'd be too hard to make him accurate for a smaller scale when packaged with blackout; and probably too boring for kids if released as a single deluxe release

It just occurred to me that all the Scorponoks in Rise of the Beasts are all different colors like they are a race of Cybertronians all to their own. And they are a terrorcon swarm coming from Unicron to restore him. so in a way it's a nod to the generic troop beast like Terrorcons from Transformers Energon. Was it intentional? probably not but it surprisingly matches up.

I know it's not Scorponok but I kinda wish Paralon from RID15 would have been included here as a sorta honorable mention since he was a repaint of Scorponok with a different head and when hasbro released a toy for him they gave him a head design based on Beast Wars Scorponok which was actually different from the head he had in the show

My favorite is Earthrise toy (including Black Zarak). I also like G1 toy, G1 animation, G1 Black Zarak, Earthrise animation, Energon G1 reissue, Cybertron, Angry Birds, RiD 2015 animation, and Bayverse deluxe toy.

2007 scorponok is the best because on cybertron he was always left behind on purpose because he can blend in to the surroundings and he will always kill stragglers off and when he attacks he will be able to quickly hide again basically what I’m trying to say is that he does hit and run tactics

Beast Wars Scorponok (the toy) was awesome. Show version.. wasn't. Character-wise he was made redundant as soon as Inferno debuted. Which is the portrayal that he should have had from the beginning. The only one "done dirty" in that Season Two death sequence was Terrorsaur. He had _both_ a cool TM toy design and a ton more potential.

So basically this character got smaller since G1. Especially with Beast Wars getting smaller, then Bayformers which made him smol, then ROTB making it bigger but still smaller.

For the G1 Scorponok I like to think that he was a War Titan a special War Titan because I like to think that War Titans while powerful enough to destroy a Red Super Giant but they are small. Scorponok and Fortress Maximus are the same size as normal Titans. You see while normal Titans are born War Titans are made But what do you think about my interpretation of Titans and War Titans

The only thing that bayverse scorponok should've had was not being blackout's partner and instead be a titan sized scorpion that towers over optimus prime just like king scorponok from the bayverse "human alliance" arcade game, and should've had the "GET OVER HERE" attack where he extends his tail out and grabs optimus from the "battle for the matrix" game.

As much as appreciate G1 scorponok, I like the Bayverse design. I wished he had a character though. BW is my personal favorite when it comes to character. This is kind of a rant buy I hate that he's being reduced as a disposable army they did it in Netflix kingdom and in ROTB. Hopefully in the next adaptation he becomes a singular character

I’m realizing very quickly watching this that Scorpinok hasn’t had many good designs. Beast Wars and G1 were the only clear winners there, which is funny since they’re on opposite ends of the spectrum for what works for him.

I don't get why you dug so deep into the Movie Scorpinoks, down to the unused concept art, and considered a bunch of things to be separate entries from one another, yet you left out IDW Scorpinok. The video description said you covered "ALL" comics designs, but you only covered two comic designs that were in, like, a single panel, and somehow left out Marvel Comics and IDW, two way better known ones.

No I didn’t. I have the proof I edited myself in PowerPoint lol. It’s a fun coincidence and not intentional if I had seen his video first then I would’ve changed it to look different 😂 but if you look at them side by side you can see slight differences.
