I think western viewers are really confused about the dynamic with Nadine. Her Korean was pretty basic, she couldn't communicate with the cast well. Remember the first scene with Dex, she couldn't understand "What are you looking for in a relationship?" It's hard to build a romantic connection when there's a big language barrier. Also Dongwoo definitely sucks but I don't exactly think he fumbled Nadine. He looked like he lost interest after he heard she was studying medicine. As a doctor he knows that means a grueling 8 years of postgrad ed. and residency. Plus she's studying in the US. If you're in your thirties it doesn't really make sense to commit to an 8 year long distance relationship with a 20 year old. Wouldn't really be fair to either of them.

When I tell you how distraught I was when Hajeong and Sejun were not put in the iconic list my heart hurted. They made their seasons the most enjoyable for me. When others were making me pull my hair out when they got scenes it was a nice breather

I think hajeoung did so much more than just standing , it's true that in the last episodes there wasn't so much going on with her and that because they kept showing us geanhee's shit but i feel like hajeoung deserves more , she made the season enjoyable and funny , I love her ❤ it's a shame that she returns to gwanhee but the heart wants what it want 🥹 she gives her best in a respectful way .

I was surprised when you put hajeong as just 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️Even if hajeong became irrelevant to the whole hyeseon x gwanhee x minji situation, it’s her presence & personality throughout the show that made it so much fun to watch. Without hajeong, it wouldn’t be as entertaining and it would’ve been just a hot mess. ICONIC queen!

I don’t know, I feel that Seul ki was not liked by many viewers, but events revolved around her and she was the main character, not even Jinyoung, since we watched the experiences as if from the perspective of Seu ki

aww wouldve put Soe on sharp left cus i remember how she chose SeJong with tears in her eyes cus she finally came to terms that no matter how much she tries the other guy was not going to look her way. I am one of the people who did not like season one, and tbh I don’t quite remember the hustle of Jia, I don’t remember her convos, and that’s what I like the most in such shows, I do remember that she is classy and beautiful but that’s it, so I don’t understand why people view her as iconic tbh Second season was really good at that time, my fav would be the two who had the best conversation, chemistry and connection Soeun and Young Jae I was not a fan of Dex and Suelki’s drama, but I rooted for Nadine as she had such an innocent and clumsy side to her which I really found interesting to watch This season might be my favorite,Hyesun and Gwanhee made this season, there was something special about these two, despite all the drama that disturbed their flow, the chemistry they had is loud, and was missing from last two seasons, I don’t remember a couple that had this much connection, and I am speaking about connection they had from first episode, I doubt I would love a couple from single inferno coming seasons as I loved these two

i'm not doing other seasons cause its so stressful but here (count how many times i say "like omg" like omg) also this is lengthy for no reason but hear me out kind of ashamed to say this but... 1. minyoung, jinseok i understand why people would't like her she's so much like someone who you dm constantly and they never EVER reply but when you stop dming they get so upset and stuff but, i think people forget that she was forced to be dedicated to one person even though they had been there for literally 2 days. he kinda was blocking her from the other guys approaching her and probably thought she was a tramp for picking 4 candies instead of just one. but i love love love both characters and their dynamic and bickering it honestly made the season for me. 2. hajeong, hyeseon both of them ATE UP THE SEASONNN like ngl i literally was waiting for a scene that hajeong would pop up and i think after hyeseon had that talk with gwanhee she instantly became one of my fav. she knew her worth. also hyeseon was literally THAT GIRL everyone liked her, she also was such a girl's girl considering how she was acting with sieun and minwoo supporting them and stuff. it was just so cute 3. sieun, minwoo i love them so so so much honestly best couple of the season and i continuously rewatch their scenes because of the eye contact and stuff and honestly knowing that theres a 60% chance they are still together makes it like 10x more cute than it actually is. it felt like watching a drama. 4. gwanhee, minkyu, habin, wonik if we're gonna be honest habin, wonik and minkyu were literally JUST there they were both very attractive. minkyu at least tried to get gyuri and was more like a person people used for advice and all the girls viewed him as a bestfriend and stuff. habin i literally did not like him it was obvious he was only there just to promote his little acting career i saw him in my demon and i was like omg i know exactly what he's doing here. he probably saw nadine, jinyoung, and jia's success after the show and just decided to do the same thing again like... i didn't like wonik he wasn't very charismatic but seeing clips of him after the show he looks SO much more healthy and fuller. and all the cast seems to like him as well. and gwanhee. well i actually kinda loved gwanhee in the beginning cause he did exactly what he said he was going to do, AND ATE !! but in the end he reminded me so much of this one guy my friend used to like and he was 36 going on 16 it was really annoying to see him get so mad over the smallest things like gosh and at the end when he picked hyeseon i was sooo happy but i was really mad about all the things he put her through (although the crocodile tears from him did get me to like him a bit.) 5. gyuri i liked her a lot in the beginning (not the first episode when she didn't say thank you to hyeseon or "you too"? or something) but she just fumbled it all when she literally ruined it by being so so rude to minwoo and i know a bit korean and her tone was SO RUDE like it was like she was bullying him or something. i think she needs to remember is this guy is younger than you and less experienced and it's a dating show idk how she expects for him to be dedicated to him when she was out here juggling between minkyu and minwoo like girl... then she says i hope they both get together and stuff and stuff and that was just the breaking point for me i paused the show and went for a walk. but she apologized after the show and stuff so i don't hate her as much as i tried to WALL BIG WALL MEGA ULTRA WALL 5. minji I ABSOLUTELY HATEEEEDD this girl like omg. she was willing to be a homewrecker for gwanhee and everything. she was saying stuff like omg if i liked this guy and he has a wife and stuff i would still try to go with him like that's not- 🤮 but yea she's also extremely disrespectful because in the helicopter when she tried to get gwanhees attention it wasn't cute and stuff just annoying she really tried to get his attention while HE was on a date and not only that, SHE was also on a date with another man like omg. and he offered him her shirt he's not even a girl but if he was he would be the ultimate girl's girl. anyway, i need to keep in mind that this is slightly scripted, the people aren't like this irl, and i can't try to put all of their personality and everything within 10 days of their lives that i've seen. they all have their own lives and stuff.❤❤

Omg you and I think alike 😆😆😆 I'd rank the 3 seasons the same way. 😳 My most fave season is 3, followed by 1. S2 a bit snoozefest for me 😅 And oh yes Jia is iconic, but I'd still put Hyeseon as my no.1 iconic, followed by Jia. 😆 Idk why but I got more hooked this season and Hyeseon's charm and personality won me over all 3 seasons I dont have many faves tho Hyeseon, Jia, Seoeun, Yeawon, Nadine maybe

i don't like ha jeong either. literally from the very beginning she wants gwan hee (probably she knew him famous) and sends to hye seon condescending looks. she almost looked like she tries harder so much to don't see hye seon as a threat. even when she realized that gwan hee didn't want her, she claimed that he would choose gyuri or minji. we watched her talking hye seon's back w minyoung and sieun, who knows what happened that the behind the scenes cause hye seon always looks so lonely. and even as she was trashing gwan hee in the girls' room, it was clear she was going after him again. she pitted the other girls against gwan hee but continued to chase after him. she was mad at to him but it was such a fake reaction then she went and apologized to him. and also that chin movement she makes to every man just to impress is not endearing, just repulsive

the thing abt gwanhee is that yes he brought the drama but he overdid it to the point that in the last few eps even the panelists were like "choose whoever do whatever I can't care about this anymore" and that was my stance too. he genuinely started giving me PHYSICAL headaches. it was not a good experience so that is why for me gwanhee absolutely ruined this season.

Unpopular opinion: season 2 is the best one and season 3 is the worst (I dindn't like that everything was about Gwan hee, so many miss oportunities and also the first setting for the island was way better. In season 3 the settings were like trying to say desert island in more distopian way which I think was not necessary)

I liked Hyesung and Gwan Hee's chemistry and the season was more dynamic overall. But I think no one has yet topped the pool scene of season 2 and the chemistry of Jinyoung and Seul ki.I would just watch them all season if I had the opportunity

If a man talked to one of the women in the was that gyuri did to minwoo. Let's just say in the incinerator they would have been online. So it just surprises me that there is more grace or patient with this behavior when women do it instead of a man. Both cases are horrible
