I'm aware there's this awful high-pitched compression flub or something in the captain falcon segment, I noticed it a few days after uploading, and that sure as hell wasn't supposed to be there. If you see this before watching, just turn it down I guess when you get there maybe? I have no clue how to get rid of it, I'm sorry if you had to be subjected to that without warning. I'll make sure to quality check more thoroughly next time there, it's wack. Sorry again.
Anyway
The second continuation of an extended waste of time.
It'll take a hot sec, but rest assured once I'm done with all the oldies, I'll get to those elusive post-4.6 skins. Eventually. Probably.

Check out Daddymouse as well, he actually gave me a lot of inspiration while making this video by leaving an encouraging comment on the last. It's not much I know, but it was a surreal feeling at the time, kinda like I was suddenly part of a cute little creator group and being cheered on by the bois, yknow. Gentleman Jenos was a reference to Sailor Moon's Tuxedo Mask, I'm pretty sure, which is why he's so pompous and talks about things like love and starlight But if you're not aware of that context I get why this skin could be really confusing to people lol

I really love these videos, but it bothers me a lot that as a skin reviewer, you kinda lack "culture". You claim about themes but you lack the background knowledge about them. In this video the most standout one is Inara's Iron Madam skin. I understand that you won't get Jenos' Tuxedo Mask themed skin since it's a Sailor Moon reference, an anime, but Iron Madam's theme is iron maiden, a pretty commonly known torture device from the medieval age. Your take on theme is very inconsistent and blinded with ignorance that at this point, you might as well not consider it when scoring or reviewing these skins. The rest are good though. My bad if this one sounded like I'm angry. I'm just more passionate than most when it comes to themes and seeing that you miss the point is so many of these skins hurts my kidneys in an atomic level. Liked and subscribed by the way. Cheers!

I think that's a pretty fair take yeah, I don't think possible to not take skin themes into consideration at all, but I do think good execution of creative or multiple themes at once deserves commendation, so I'll for sure be trying to understand themes a bit better as time goes on here. It'll be a lot easier with the obscure themes when I get to the point of ranking skins per patch/event pass lol. In general though, I try never to dock anything from a skin if I don't understand the theme, and only do so minorly if I get the theme and feel it's a bit dull. The theme's execution is another thing entirely, as a skin with a cool theme can be executed in a pretty mediocre way details and quality-wise, which is kinda how I felt about Inara's Iron Maiden there, though it's totally possible that I didn't fully get my thoughts across as much as I'd like lmao. In any case I'll keep that in mind, I appreciate the words and feedback and stuff

Honestly everything from A tier to SS are so damn close in my eyes, I have to be SUPER nitpicky to set them apart, so I could totally see that in like, other reversions of tier lists by other folks. All the stellar skins are gorgeous and Io's is one of the goats
