You actually want the ranger for the barrel since it guarantees a one hit kill at really long distances which is insane. Also in my experience the last bolt is the best.

The L96 is a quick-scoping monster with the short mags. Also I like to throw a angled grip on my snipers for better control stats. RECOIL DOESN'T MATTER! I also only use Bolt A because I think the other bolts enable a bad habit of hardscoping for too long, and auto racking will pull you out of scope if you were trying to see where your bullet landed.

Yeah control might be helpful but I think reload speed is better especially with short mags so you have way less downtime

Yep personally think the l96 is the best all around sniper with short mag, b25 grip, ranger barrel, and 4x scope. It has the second fastest bullet velocity and has insane handling stats with snappy ADS. The m200 is the best long range sniper by far but I think it sucks when you’re trying to do a more aggressive play style because of the extremely slow run speed

⁠@@vali69 It should be made difficult to kill at those distances because the farther away you are from the action, the less danger you are in. Like unless your target is holding a sniper rifle themselves, they have zero recourse if you’re far enough away for there to be any challenge. Sniping is already a predominantly one sided interaction, which is a massive game design hazard. It shouldn’t also be easy.

honestly just use the ranger for the damage boost and the velocity, the increase in 1st shot doesnt matter since its a bolt action and you may aswell get alittle bit more damage (i know it doesnt hit any break points on all but one of the snipers but you may aswell get more damage) otherwise just use a flash hider or suppressor long as it will help you be more sneaky bolt speed should just be in how many seconds it takes, but its going the wrong way, some how the higher stat is better when it should be worse

My brother in Christ what do you think would happen to infantry hit by an anti material rifle that can punch a hole through steel plated armour It would make no sense, especially for a game like battlebit which keeps things fairly close to reality That said i do want a Barrett .50 Cal added tho

I'd say the ranger barrel is better than the long barrel. They have the same velocity increase but the ranger has a higher damage increase.

I have way different opinions on sniping in battlebit, either you take long barrel for high velocity (i do not recommend that) or you get used to bullet traveltime and use a ranger barrel to one shot with weak snipers or, and thats my go to, you use the sniper with ACOG or any other mid range scope and a silencer, so that you are completly stealth sniping, which will not reveal your position as fast. with long range scopes you have the classic sniper glint and without a silencer you have muzzle flash and people can hear and see where youre shooting from. at nighttime you can change the mid range scope to a long range scope if you want to, because at night time there is no scope glint.

Stock attachments feel necessary they need full stocks, remove stocks shortened stocks foldable stocks on all guns I want to run like a ump without a stock and run at 30 mph

you are mistaken in only one thing, the bipod is actually a very good attachment, as it nulifies scope sway, so you dont need to hold your breath to stabilize with 6x+ scopes, you just need to put it in some sort of surface, very usefull in spots where you can shoot without being spotted.

@@StriderPF perfect for night maps, where NV forbids the use of medium scopes, and there is no scope glint on the 6x + scopes. Slap a supressor and you become invisible, i have went over 40/2 kd with this setup

You can just move your mouse to counter the sway though. Use the attachment for something the game does that you can't just play around 100% (okay more like 98% in fairness) or have it empty to not have any of the negative stats.

40x and a bipod is how you farm from over 900m away. My records for Sandy and Valley are both over 2km, and my average distance on Sandy is probably about 1300m. Use M200 with bolt E and you're ready to destroy anyone foolish enough to show you their lens flare!

Wish the Remington was useful with super fast cycling speed like the old bf3/4 gol magnum but I genuinely think it’s useless. Lowest cycling speed of all snipers with a mid ass velocity and okay damage. If someone could prove me wrong I would be happy to hear it but it either needs a buff or to switch places in unlocks

my favorite build for the L96 is a 20x, or 15x with C Red Dot Top, 15 Round Mag, Bolt E, Ranger Muzzle, and a bipod or CQR. The ranger muzzle is so good for snipers

@@Slick6464 on some maps like Basra your scope glint will show through trees and bushes from even 400m away. There's been countless occasions where I've seen a scope glint through foliage and quickly killed the sniper without him being able to do anything

I feel like the R700 was supposed to be the fastest cycling rifle but they reversed the stat? Heck until this video i thought the "Bolt action speed" was in s. So 1.0 Bolt action speed = 1s cycle time. Rem700 0.65 = 0,65s cycling time. Had to check in the shooting range that its actually the slowest for some weird reason...

I'm curious why so many people lean when scoping in? Is to get the crosshair out of the way to see better? I have been having a blast sniping but I personally do so much better when I'm using that lower line of the crosshair.

pretty subjective stuff you're talking about here... to me at the end it comes down to what velocity, control, recoil while ADSing and especially fire rate you're comfortable shooting consecutively since BTK are the same except for exo-support. the ones with higher damage/velocity aren't worth the increased hassle while aiming. also muzzle break/ suppressors are worth it with long range scopes since you can shoot a few times more before the whole enemy team knows your position. after testing everything for 2h in the range my fav is: L96 chill fire rate but still fast enough for a second shot if you hit body the first time and enough control/recoil to not have a hard time hitting everything.

bugged probably, or chopper is not affected by the stats. I have noticed the stats of light armor dmg apply to buggies, and prob to unarmored humvees too. It needs to be rechecked by the devs tho.

No. L-Armor damage applies to lightly armored vehicles.

Yeah I think the stat is literally just broken and you should go off just testing the bolting speed alone since the Remington has 0.65 but is super slow, but 1 is slower than 0.8 so is higher faster or is lower faster? Who knows they needa fix it

Problem I find picking anything quieter is that the players you need to be most careful of not being caught out by are still about the same level of threat anyway. Oh should also factor in the times you spawn and are stuck immediately in an exposed firefight where kitting for being quiet or suppressed etc. could not have helped.

Listen, look into zeroing. This is the biggest difference between 69 and 98. You can only zero into 500 meters with the 69, whereas the 98 can zero into 1000.

Thing is you can easily gameplay around that difference in zeroing, and because your xhair is above you even have better visibility on the target. I've actually gone back to never doing any zeroing, that way there is one less variable to get used to in building up "muscle memory" and you don't have to manage the input.

@@Bozebo True. However, when it comes to 1200m sniping with a mid range scope, the zeroing can make all the difference. I've been in countless situations such as this, with both weapons, and having the extra zeroing really makes the difference for hitting shots. However, I have gotten some amazing kills at the 1200m range with the ssg69, which does indeed make the kill feel even cooler. For example, there was a dude in a pickaxe hole 1188m out, and he was using a long range scope. It was a sniping contest. I took a shot, he took a shot. Easily dodging bullets it is, when the enemy is far away. Eventually, I got myself a dead headshot, guaranteeing the kill. It would have been easier with the 98 though, and I wouldn't have missed as many shots trying to find the exact range.

Says about velocity and fails to mention "ranger" for barrel also no mention of glint, which doesn't exist on mid range scope any snipers besides L96 and m200 are worthless m200 for lower skill because velocity L96 is better for higher skill because more ammo and not that much velocity loss in comparison to m200

I don't agree with the video at all. I have 3,000 kills with the L96 and 5,000 with the M200. For the L96, you should use the Ranger barrel, and for the M200, the long barrel works best. Zeroing doesn't really matter with the M200 because of its high velocity. As for the underbarrel, the BRK is always the best choice, allowing for quickscoping when there's a large number of enemies spawning around the 100-meter mark and you want to chain kills. When it comes to the scope, sadly, the only scope you can currently use is the TRI4X32. It won't give away your position or allow enemy shots to pass through trees or any other obstacles.

Yeah, I meant to say ranger not long barrel, because ranger usually will just be the best for the extra damage and probable 1hk limb lrc, and as for the sights the medium range ones are by far the best imo but it’s really personal preference, scope glint just is terribly implemented rn lol

SSG is worst just on the merit of how it's max zeroing range is only like 600M if memory serves. Most every other rifle has ~double that limit. For context, you can zero weapons in battlebit for certain ranges. This effectively shoots at an upwards angle to account for bullet drop at whatever range you're zero'd for.

Yeah or your scope is pointed down so you have to look further up (that’s how it is in real life but in this game they probably use some kind of videogame trickery to just make the bullet go higher)

It’s because you have to manually cycle rounds I think once you get a straight pull bolt it’s way more fun

I will never play this game because of the privacy concerns. Their privacy policy allows them to hold your voice chat recordings for unlimited amount of time and sell them. They are also going to change the anti cheat to faceit which can screenshot your desktop. This is Meta-level privacy infringement.
