In hindsight I probably should’ve added the Bulls since he faced them 4 times in 5 seasons. But I think I mentally blocked them out since in 3/4 meetings they clobbered in 5 games. And as we know Lebron only faced a peak DRose in one postseason and the rest was Jimmy.

Correction: The Raps got Ibaka in the winter of 2017, though they were potentially looking to sign him in the summer of 2016. Unfortunately, they lost Biyambo to the Magic as well, and they gave up Terrance Ross to Orlando as well to get Ibaka. So they lost some depth to get Ibaka, but it all worked out at the end of the day.

Pierce isn’t exactly a household name for a lot of people since he isn’t the flashiest. But he was always that guy in Boston and knew how to get buckets. I rewatched that game where he scored 41 on Bron and he makes it look so simple 😂. Mainly because he ain’t doing all the flashy stuff

Also as a defender pierce free throw line pull up would make me want to punch him. He got that shot off all the time yet people knew it was coming. Besides the warriors with KD. Boston is the only team that thought they could beat lebron.

Unfortunately he only faced the GOOD Pistons twice. Once when he was blocked off in the 2nd round and the other time when he made his first finals. I was looking more for series that lasted atleast 3.

Came here expecting the Pistons, but I get the reasoning. However, for an extra bit of LeBron/Pistons history.. In the third to last game of the 04-05 regular season, Detroit beat the Cavs which I believe knocked them out of playoff contention that year (I was there, great game). So, I imagine when LeBron finally did pass Detroit by dropping 25 straight in that same building a couple seasons later, it may have felt particularly good to him. Great video!

I'm disappointed by the lack of mention of Dwight Howard. All though they only played 1 series in which Bron lost, they did have multiple battles in the regular season. While also both were gunning it for the best young talent in the late 00's & the early 10's.

As I defined in the intro a rival pertains to two groups going after the same goal and fighting for superiority. Yes Lebron may have not seen it that way, but for the other side he is the reason no one else can compete in the East. So while he didn't think of them as rivals, the other team did.
